If you use www.camelcamelcamel.com, you can price track any item's history on Amazon. It's quite useful.

This BD/DVD combo pack has both the edited 25th Anniversary Edition and the original uncensored version (well, as uncensored as a G movie can be).

I own the 25th Anniversary Edition too... signed by Peter Beagle. Actually signed in 3 places (slipcover, DVD cover, DVD disc). So I'm on the fence. I guess I'll wait to hear how good the transfer turns out.

DVD was $90 and the Blu was $120. I was on the fence on what one to get. Mostly I wanted the Cylon face box. I did order the Blue. OT I have watched the last esp 11 times so far. The battle rocked.

You can still keep the signed one too.

So, Baby Mama and Knocked Up that I had ordered for a total of $19.98 for the Little Fockers movie cash had a happy ending today. The original deal was you'd get an email about the moviecash when your order shipped. I never did and emailed them about it. Got a response saying they didn't know why and that it was only 1 per customer (but it also said make your selectionS below, so a bit ambiguous), but they refunded me $8. Then, yesterday I received 2 emails for 2 $10 moviecash codes. So, for $11.98 I got 2 BDs and 2 movie tickets. Not bad.

If it's any consulation, the image quality for the DVD set received 4 1/2 stars in a DVDTalk review. :)

That, and there is no Blu-ray release for Archer. ;)

You're lucky, the police in this town have been raiding places offering happy endings:rimshot:

No new lows worth reporting today (a new Cars BD/DVD combo pre-order for $26.99 isn't my idea of a worthwhile deal).

I'm taking the day off.

Thanks for always doing a kick-ass job on these lists. You've simultaneously cost and saved me a great deal of money over the last couple months. :)

Already had I Spit on Your Grave pre-ordered at 18.99, nice to see I'll be saving a couple bucks.

Went ahead and put in a pre-order for the Pirates set too. 50.99 for three movies I've been wanting to get on BD plus a new bonus disc and movie money for the new one isn't too bad.

The Disney Movie and/or Blu-Ray clubs have all 3 Pirates movies in Blu-Ray. I believe you can save over the $50.99 with a membership if you are so inclined.

Yes. A well-optimized Disney Blu-ray Club membership can get most Disney titles for about $10 each; this would include the individual Pirates movies. New releases used as fulfillments will usually cost $3 to $5 more, depending on the deal. There is a thread in the clubs forum on the subject: Disney Blu-ray Club

This new Pirates set apparently has a seventh disc of extras, for those who care about such things.

wait... what's different about the 7 disc bluray set and this one that I just got in December?

ETA: Hmm some discussion here about it.

The box says there are "never before seen deleted scenes" and a sneek peek of the new movie. Dunno if there is anything else...
