It's also really close to being barebones...deleted scenes, trailers, and an audience reaction track are it. All the usual Rodriguez stuff (cooking school, film school, any behind-the-scenes stuff at all, commentary, etc.) are missing. There's nothing official, exactly, but based on all that, I'd say a re-release is a very sure thing. When it'll happen, though, I have no idea.
And yes they really are working on 2 sequals, Danny comes to my work to watch movies quite a bit, and is always really friendly, I asked if they were really going to do a follow up or if it was just a gag at the end. And he said there is definately a sequal in the works. |

And he said there is definately a sequal in the works. When I worked on the Paramount lot, Robert Rodriguez's food delivery went to us by mistake. I called Robert to find out where he was at, and was surprised he actually answered his own phone. There were so many questions I wanted to ask him, but all I talked about was the food delivery mistake. Sigh... |

The Other Guys (Two-Disc Unrated Other Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy) $14.99
plus I ordered Hitch from this list with it for $4.99 more |
Re: Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)
Romeo+Juliet and Moulin Rouge are down to $14.99 each. Too bad that $10 off a purchase of both promo isn't still going; I'd be all over that.

Wallet has taken quite the break over the last week. Looks like it might be a trend that continues for a while.

Amazon has Battlestar Galactica complete collection for $160 . Is that a fair price? I recall it being cheaper in the past.

The Last Unicorn is up for pre-order at $14.99. It was in my gold box yesterday, so I jumped on the few cents savings.
This BD/DVD combo pack has both the edited 25th Anniversary Edition and the original uncensored version (well, as uncensored as a G movie can be). |

I own the 25th Anniversary Edition of the Last Unicorn... I never knew it was edited. How much was cut out?

Lionsgate licensed the German video masters and audio mix, and came up with a "25th Anniversary Edition" DVD which was released in North America on February 6, 2007. It has audio and visual quality superior to the original U.S. release, and is in 16:9 widescreen format, but has several swear words edited out, and as a result of being taken from PAL masters, plays 4% faster than the original film, resulting in a slightly higher audio pitch than normal. The new DVD edition includes a featurette with an interview with the author, as well as a set-top game, image gallery, and the original theatrical trailer. |

Dang, I was in for Black Dynamite for $10, but it jumped immediately to $20. That was a short deal.
