According to the tracking info, UPS delivered my Let the Right One In BD this morning. I didn't notice it on my porch, but after getting home this afternoon, a teenage boy came knocking on the door. He left so fast that I only saw him heading down the street. He had a small Amazon box in his hand. Considering the package is nowhere to be found, I assume it was either delivered to the wrong address and he was attempting to return it (but why not just leave it?) or he swiped it off my porch. I've never seen this kid before, so I guess I'll be contacting customer service if he doesn't come back. :(

Seriously though, I don't know why he would knock if he was stealing it. But it does sound bizarre. So did you see the boy AS you were arriving home? Or were you already in the house? |

^ I had just gotten home, checked the mail and went into the kitchen for a drink. I heard a soft knock on the door, walked over and opened it (no more than 15 seconds after) and he was already walking away down the sidewalk in front of my neighbor's house. Kid doesn't live on my street, either - I don't know how to track him down.

At the time, I didn't even realize my package had been scanned as 'delivered' already. For all I knew, he was selling candy bars out of an old Amazon box. Still, it made me check my tracking online to make sure. Lo and behold, the kid JUST came back and gave me my package. Sorry to have doubted you, bud. |

The odd thing was getting a UPS delivery in the morning. Around us, they strictly deliver and make pickups from businesses with house deliveries done in the afternoon. |

I very rarely get packages through UPS, but since starting the Prime trial, all my Amazon purchases have been delivered this way. They normally arrive about 2 pm, but this one was listed as being delivered just after 11 am. Maybe they had a slow delivery schedule with businesses today?
BTW, the copy of Let the Right One In they shipped me DOES have the corrected subtitles for anyone still on the fence. |
