After re-watching Micmacs again tonight on DVD (which of course doesn't touch seeing in at the cinema) I went a head and ordered 2 copies of the blu-ray, for myself and a friend - now only if Delicatessen would drop to the price of some of the other StudioCanal Collection titles I would be very happy.

Amazon fixed that - they lowered their buyback price to $12.

I'm surprised so many people have received the Nite Owl ship already. I ordered the second the deal went live, I'm using the free Prime trial - yet my shipping estimate is 12/23? :wtf:

I'll take those lists with a big grain of salt. I've had local cinemas not on the list take the e-movie cash and ones on the list not take them. A good example was Tangled. My wife was taking our oldest son and had a pass that supposedly our local Cinemark didn't accept, but it worked fine. They told us as long as it is a payment option (Visa, MC, Discovery etc.) they accept it should work.
The closest for Little Fockers was 24 miles away for me and not Cinemark, but I'll still try. I got Baby Mama and Knocked Up (already had Role Models).

I don't know if anybody has been following this: https://usa.visa.com/personal/visa-s...e/holiday.html

But if you happened to have grabbed a Toy Story 3 code today for fun but don't plan on using it, please let me know. I've been trying to get one for days.

I've been trying too for a several weeks to get one for TS3 so I could combine with the $10 off deal. I finally got one for B&TB yesterday ($4.49) and TS3 today. I got TS3 for $7.49 and A Bug's Life for $11.99 with the $10 off deal that ends today. Good luck getting one cause if you don't click on as soon as it pops up (it's noon for me) then you are usually SOL.

I clicked right when it started. I was putting in my numbers and it errored out. After that it was sold out. It seems people on SD are collecting them to dole out for trades. The ones that don't sell out the fastest sell out because people grab those codes to trade to others (so that they can use more than 1 code per day.) It's frustrating.

Why is that Eastwood collection missing THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES? What's the hold up with that title anyway?

I listed that BD in Post 270. I try not to relist titles unless they have changed in price in the interim, because the lists are already long and crosschecking each title in past lists would be tedious.

So, please keep in mind that previous day's lists contain many titles that remain at the listed low price.

Sorry, Liz! I didn't see that scanning through.

So now they're dropping prices the day after release (The Town)? Seems shady to me and will probably stop me from pre-ordering.

The Town dropped to 19.99 on release day which means any pre-order will get a refund. Already got the email that I was getting a 3 dollar refund.

It's not a new practice. But yeah, preordering movies is kind of pointless. In most cases, people who get the best deal on dvds and blurays waited until the price dropped substantially.

No problem. This thread grows so fast I think it would be useful to link previous lists so people can easily find them, perhaps from the previous three days or so. [Edit: I've added the information to the list above.]

I've thought about just creating a master list in the first post but I don't know how much longer I want to keep making them (those long ones take a lot of time to assemble).

I appreciate people helping out by posting their finds or highlighting titles of interest. The vast majority of things I list I've never heard of, so I never know if they are of value to anyone.

They did the same thing with Vampire Circus.

Guess I don't notice because I'm not the super bargain hunter that most are here. Seeing the new lows in this thread really highlighted it for me though.

Fortunately the $22.99 price scared me off and I didn't order it.

I also got the backorder email about Bird with the Crystal Plumage.

Makes me quite upset figuring I really wanted it before Christmas.

I kind of want to cancel and re-order since it's 3 bucks cheaper from when I bought it, but I don't want to lose priority since I've been waiting for over 2 weeks now.

Goonies is $6. Yes, this is the Blu-ray in the box with the game, magazine reprint, etc. Must be a pricing mistake.
