The special edition is worth getting for all of the extras that it contains, and is probably better than the combo pack (unless you have a ton of friends who doesn't own a blu-ray player or you are currently do not have a blu-ray player, but are considering buying one). |

Blu-ray DOTW: Tron five-disc for $39.99. I don't own it but I don't feel a need to either. The new film is probably a rental, and though I saw the original in theaters (#datingmyself), I was never a big fan.
Hmm, I guess I let all of last week's "anniversary" deals expire. I must be getting better at resisting deals I don't really need. |

I saw Tron on original release too. I was around 18 years old. Enjoyed it, but didn't love it. I was on a Disney cruise this January and they were showing Legacy in 3D plus a bunch of other current/recent releases in the ship's theatre. Sat down at a late-night showing of Legacy after the kids were in bed, and left after around thirty minutes. Did nothing for me.
