I think Gran Torino is the only one of those that I own on Blu, but I think I have them all on DVD and am not feeling compelled to upgrade. Saw Where Eagles Dare recently and thought it was an entertaining but not great flick.

Hmmm...a few more Warner digibooks under $20 I see. That's usually my maximum price for them. Tempted by All the President's Men and Papillon.

I got the HD-DVD for free. It's a shame the original version isn't included, but I might bite at this price for the Blu-ray.

Thanks for the link. I certainly would not say it ruins the film. That's a bit harsh. Sure, the original cut is better...but the director's cut is far from a bastardization. At $7.99 this is a great value.

BTW, Flashpoint Third Season(DVD) is now a modest $21.99. This is the cheapest I've seen by quite a bit. I was fortunate enough to review the first two seasons and it is an extremely underrated show with great characters and interesting stories.

Chuck seasons are reduced. S2 is as low as it has ever been as far as I can tell (26.99). S1 and S3 have been lower. Still, pretty good reduction from the 50+ dollars they were asking.

Except, of course, if you include dvd2blu's $15 and $20 price tag for season 1 and 2 (respectively). That's a sale price, if you ask me, all things considered.

Yep, that's were I got my Season 1 & 2. Have $35 in both of them (traded 2 sampler DVDs that a paid .1 cent each for. :)

Chuck is one of the few series I didn't buy at dvd2blu because I've never seen it and haven't had time to locate and watch any episodes. I haven't checked dvd2blu for a month or two, but I assume it's the same "any DVD" promo as before with the same titles they had last year... and the year before that... and the year before that. What's funny is this last week WB Shop sent me a couple email promos and the sales titles were mostly the stuff from dvd2blu but about twice as expensive in this so-called "sale".

Yeah well, I only needed season 2 and shipping charges on the WB deal brought it so close to Amazon's price it just wasn't worth the effort or extra time. Good deal for anyone who needs S1 or both seasons though.

I would get them at that price if I didn't already have them. But Chuck is one of the few things I bought on DVD and passed over the Blu-ray. When we bought S1 it was for my son who didn't have a BR player yet and the reviews on subsequent seasons were not glowing. That, coupled with the big price tags we just opted for the regular DVD sets. I had considered the DVD2Blu but it just didn't need an upgrade that badly. I'd rather keep the money for titles not yet owned.
