YMMV on The Fall. Went to a Blockbuster near my new house, price rang up at $6.99 there.

Also snagged Forgetting Sarah Marshall for $6.99 as well.

Edited my initial post to keep track of pricing.

Indeed. GREAT flick. I'd pay $12.99 for that!

Is The Fall the Tarsem movie? I've seen a The Fall $3 DVD at Big Lots that is a completely different movie.

I've seen it mentioned/asked a couple of times, but do the Previously Viewed DVD promos usually include the Previously Viewed Blurays also?

Only asking because the Bluray signage in store says something to the effect of "Previously Viewed DVD-Bluray".

Hell, I've got 50-75 of them lying around here ever since I moved all of my Blus and HD DVDs to Discsox. I'm not the only one. Just look around or check eBay.

Are any of your empty cases the 3-disc ones that are still standard width such as what "The Dark Knight" came in? (As opposed to the fatter 3-disc ones that Disney and some Sony releases come in)

If so, I'd be interested in buying some of them from you.

Re: Blockuster pv blu, many ringing at $6.99

Stopped by my local Blockbuster on my lunch hour to see if there were any new titles out. Lots of new titles, but they seem to be putting the new ones out at $12.99 and $16.99. Looks like you have to wait another 8 months for those to drop to the better prices. Some of the new titles were District 9, Pelham 123, Public Enemies, Drag Me to Hell, Funny People and a few others.

I got lucky and scored The Fall for 6.99 as well. It was a blind buy, but it's hard to go wrong between the price and the praise it's received.

Those of you who got The Fall on Blu for $6.99 are bastards. My local stores didn't even carry it, just on DVD.

I found it for 6.99 as well. My thanks to the OP. It was a blind buy for me but based on both the good and bad reviews, it seems like something I should see.

Re: Blockuster pv blu, many ringing at $6.99

Couldn't find The Fall at my local BBV, but lots of good $6.99-9.99 that are probably at all BBV's.

Picked up:

100 Feet ($12.99)
Crank 2: High Voltage ($9.99)
The Spirit ($9.99)

Had exactly 3 extra BD cases lying around, so I'm pretty happy with what I got

Re: Blockuster pv blu, many ringing at $6.99

I have two questions:

1. Does Blockbuster put any kind of security stickers and/or labels on the discs?
2. Do you need a membership to purchase PV discs?

No membership needed, but that's free anyway.

YMMV on the stickers. I've had some with and some not in my very limited experience.

Appaloosa Blu for 6.99. It's not a great deal but it's better than current retail.

That's a rare one. Stores only put up one copy for sale per store. I luckily walked into my local BBV the day they put them out for sale (then promply picked up 2-3 more on my way to work from different BBV's and sold them for $20 each on Half.com )

Hope I don't live near you. That's a pretty crappy thing to do for a few bucks profit.
