Re: Target weekly ad 2/28-3/6

Thanks for the early prices. I'm not overly impressed, though. The current week had some great 12.99 titles, but these $13 ones are just so-so...

Yeah but the new releases are back down to $20 price for opening week, excellent. Plus I'm pretty sure ponyo will have a coupon.

With all the hype, I might grab Ponyo for $25 - $10 coupon. $15 aint bad.

With my $8 e-coupons that I got from Disney recently for their upgrade-to-blu program, that would make those two likely purchases.

The price on "Where The Wild Things Are" isn't bad. I don't buy many things first week but I may pick that up.

At worlds end is the one coupon I DON'T have. I'm hoping they put the other two on-sale (especially Pearl).

Yeah, and even if it stinks, it's only an extra 3 bucks.

I'll get Ice Age 3 at that price. And $20 for Where The Wild Things Are seems like a good deal. I wonder if BB will have some sort of exclusive that I'll get with a PM of Target's price...

Thanks OP!

Too bad National Treasure 2 isn't on that list. Would be rad to get that with the Disney Coupon for the price of the first film.

It does say "& selected others" so we'll have to wait and see. I just hope I get my coupons as fast as some have gotten them here. I just sent them about 10 days ago. Perhaps like Wizard of Oz I'll buy them and take the coupons in once I get them for a price adjust if all else fails.

Re: Target weekly ad 2/28-3/6

If anyone else can confirm the $19.99 price for the Where The Wild Thing Are BD, I'd appreciate it.

I read elsewhere that it was listed at $29.99. Seems really highly, but nothing surprises me these days.

Thanks.

Re: Target weekly ad 2/28-3/6

Well I wanted to at least rent Where the Wild Things Are before I bought it but thanks to the Netflix/WB deal that doesn't look likely

Blind buy worthy anyone?

Plus now we've seen that Best Buy's price for the 2 disc version is going to be 2 dollars more ($24.99)! May as well get the Target version and throw out their bonus disc and still save compared to BB!

Yeah, but that is a ONLINE ONLY sale. My local Best Buy WILL NOT PM to there online only sales, therefore I can't use my Manufacturers coupons. At this point with the $8 coupons, I'm hoping to get them for less than $10 somewhere before the coupons expire.

Where does it say online only? I remember when Pinnochio dropped to 9.99 on bestbuy.com that clearly said ONLINE ONLY.
none of these titles say online only for the 14.99 price not only that but every bestbuy i have gone to has had signage up instore for most of these titles that say 14.99

but unless it says ONLINE only on the site bestbuys official policy is that they give you their lowest advertised price, doesnt matter if the lowest is online or instore.

Its really sad when as a customer, a person has to point out this stuff to the employees, next time you go to your best buy and they do that point out to them their own posted policy! I get crap from the west hollywood cashiers all the time about supposedly not matching prices from best buy.com when i go in for stuff that has a huge discount, but i hold my ground and calmly explain to them the facts and when that doesnt work i take my cell phone out and dial the 1800 number right there in line and usually a the cs person on the phone will call the store your at and remind them of their policy.

Dont let them tell you that crap about not matching there online price.
