They still had plenty of the 2 National Treasures, but sold out of all three Pirates at 2 different stores.

If you live in Orlando I hid Part 1 and Part 2 behind the Gremlins Blu-ray at the Millenia Target yesterday. Not sure if they are still there or not.

The slipcovers were a little bent so I went to a couple different Targets to see if I could find them in better shape. I did find them at the Florida Mall Target so I never went back to the Millenia one. lol

Hahaha I was at the Millenia Target yesterday too. Didn't notice your buried treasures though.

Aha. Good point. Where can I get the $10 coupon at? I searched "ponyo coupon" and came up empty.

EDIT: Nevermind. Found it.

EDIT PART2: Dayum. I cannot get that coupon to print. Any suggestions?

Re: Target weekly ad 2/28-3/6

Gotta love Target employee screwups. They reversed the pricing tags under the single disc and 3 disc versions of 2012. I didn't even have to ask...they over rode the 22.99 price with the 19.99 price and she commented that they had to get someone to fix it on the shelves. Judging by the number of copies missing, I was the third person to purchase one at 9:30 this morning.

I know that the Disney coupons prompt you to download special software before you can print them. Did it ask you to do this?

My store had NO copies of the exclusive, and the slots were completely full with at least 50 of the 2-disc Deluxe Edition...

Re: Target weekly ad 2/28-3/6

2012’s packaging is amusing. The slipcover says 3-disc, the case says 2-disc and inside the case there are 4 discs lol.

At least they aren’t advertising the Digital Copy as a 4th disc like other companies do.

I thought the same thing when I was at my store earlier. 30-40 copies. I asked an employee if they even received the 3 disc deluxe and she told me that she removed the slip covers from all of them in order to put them in the security cases. I told her I wanted a slipcover, so she went in the back and got one for me. No problem.
And as was reported before, the case says 2 disc, the slip cover says 3 disc and the case includes 4 discs, with disc 4 being the digital copy. The special features disc also includes a 2nd digital copy for PSP. Pretty stacked edition.

Re: Target weekly ad 2/28-3/6

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I never would have guessed that. I hope all of them are indeed the Exclusive, since without the slipcover there is no way to tell which is the Exclusive and which is the normal Deluxe Edition. Are the UPC's different?

I think the UPC is the same everywhere (043396292215). The employee that I spoke with told me that all 30-40 copies of the version labeled as the 2 disc on the shelf were actually the 3 disc with the slipcover removed. My guess is that Target only received the single disc and the 3 disc.

I was afraid to pick one up. There was one empty row behind the sign so I thought that row just had the exclusive release. I guess they're ALL the exclusive release.

I would guess that they are all the exclusive, at least for this week.

Nope. I saw both versions. 3/4 version feels heavier too of course. Sucks that they are removing and discarding slipcovers now.

My Target had lots of both the version, bought the 22.95 4 disk version.

Looking forward to watching it soon.

No. It very briefly says that it's going to print, but then never does.

I ended up going to a friend's house and asking her to print out a coupon for me, and it worked like a charm on her computer/printer combo.

From Target today on BD:

1. Ponyo $15 ($25 - $10 coupon) -- with slipcover
2. Where the Wild Things Are $20 -- with slipcover
3. Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl $5 ($13 - $8 coupon) -- with slipcover
4. Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest $5 ($13 - $8 coupon) -- with slipcover
5. Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End $5 ($13 - $8 coupon) -- with slipcover
6. National Treasure $5 ($13 - $8 coupon) -- no slipcover
7. National Treasure 2 - Book of Secrets $5 ($13 - $8 coupon) -- no slipcover

Total cost = $60 + tax.

Re: Target weekly ad 2/28-3/6

This may have been answered upthread but, are the coupons generic Disney coupons, or must they be used on the titles you are upgrading?

They are title-specific coupons. The $10 Ponyo one can be printed from the link in my earlier post in this thread. The $8 ones can be gotten via e-mail from the Disney Upgrade-to-Blu Program:

http://disneyupgradetoblu.com/blu_ray/index.html

Which is discussed here:

At our Target in West Huntsville AL, the 3 disc version of 2012 had the big round anti theft doohickey with wires wrapped around the slipcover (I see these a lot at Walmart). They had only one left, and I grabbed it. Didn't look closely at the other version they had of 2012. WTWTA was in the security case.
