I just stopped in Target and they had both the Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind on the shelves. There was quite a few copies of Gone with the Wind. I went to customer service and they said they would price match on Friday as long as the items were purchased within the last two weeks.

I was just at Target trying to locate the Gone with the Wind and Wizard of Oz BR sets for BF. I didn't see them anywhere, so I'm wondering were these ever released, did they sell out, or are they being held in back for BF since they are Target exclusives? ("They" probably being a dozen or so copies for hundreds of people who will want them. No rainchecks of course.)
It probably wouldn't matter anyway because at least at my Target hiding stuff doesn't seem to work. I did a test run a week ago by hiding a handful of movies I wanted in various locations in electronics and various nearby sections. A few of them were in really good hiding spots (like dropped in between racks where you can't see them or in a box in a drawer in a piece of furniture), and every last one of them was gone when I checked. So I'm convinced either they go through everything top to bottom in the store weekly with a magnifying glass, or the dudes who watch the millions of cameras above make a note whenever they see someone hiding something and go around afterwards to make sure nobody succeeds in hiding something for a BF deal. And I was pretty smooth in hiding stuff by looking at other stuff and then sliding the items behind as I put the other stuff back, so the camera dudes must have powerful zooms or magic eyes.
So at least I've adjusted my expectations that I probably won't get the "hot" items on BF at Target since it will not be my first stop (this BF I have some higher priority items than movies).

On another note, I asked a CSR if Target would PM BF ads and they said "maybe". Corporate was still deciding and that I should call back Friday at 5am (right!). So, it's a possibility and if you are there, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Target Corporate said that Target stores will price adjust on Friday. If you run into problems, definitely call Corporate from the store to work things out. Good luck!

They were getting ready for the sale tonight and I saw the title cards for (I think) the "select other titles" going on sale. Most of them were ones that have been on sale recently (or still are). The newest ones I remember seeing, probably for 12.99, were Nick and Nora, Casino, Body of Lies and Paul Blart Mall Cop. For the 8.99 price it was a lot of the Warner and Lionsgate titles, including Last Samurai, Full Metal Jacket, Ninth Gate, Rambo.

my store had 0 WoO on the shelf, and 0 in the stock room according to the price scanner so I couldn't purchase one in advance. I'm probably out of luck, but I'll probably swing by tomorrow morning shortly after they open to check.

I'm sure Targets have cases of these movies for Friday. They are always bringing out fresh cases of sale movies Friday morning the last few years I I've gone.

If they did, I did not see them this morning!! They only had 2 copies of WoO & 4 copies of both GWTW & Gremlins at the Queens Blvd store, & I got into the store at about 5:15. Picked up GWTW & WoO, which I will return with my original receipt on Sunday.

Just got back from Deerfield Beach, FL Target and after being told they will price match by the manager they didn't at Cs and I was too tired to fight it, but I got my Sony Blu-Ray player for $116.99 + $30 in gift cards. Also picked up Wizard of Oz.

didn't have much stock of WoO by me in Cincinnati. Got to the store #1 at 5:15 and got the last copy. Store #2 had none. Got the last copy at store #3 (for brother who is working today). Luckily I have multiple Target's close by.
Each store seemed to have a good amount (5 to 10) of GWTW though.

Stopped by a Target at 5am and was shocked at how quickly and smoothly everything went.
I was in and out in 5 minutes. I was only buying movies, but everything else in the store, even the big ticket items, seemed to be going out very efficiently.

I have 2 extra copies of Wizard of Oz if anybody is dying for it. I'm surprised to hear how few copies the stores have. The one I went to had quite a few.
Also saw some non-Amazon sale titles:
Lord of War - 8.99
Open Season 2 - 12.99
