Coupon code DOES work on the "DVD packaging" version (and that's the version I want, since I don't currently own any Disney Blu-Rays, and I want it to fit in with the rest of my Disney DVD collection), but for some reason, the DVD packaging version is a dollar more than the Blu-Ray packaging.

With the Disney Rewards coupon for previously buying Snow (or, just putting in the code at Disney Rewards and printing up the coupon), it racks up as the same price at Best Buy, and you get that Steelbook. So this one's a pass for me.

I bought the Amazon as insurance in case Best Buy balks on the coupon with the pre-order steelbook (they are known for being inconsistent with coupons, especially with exclusives).

Once I walk home with my Best Buy copy having successfuly used a coupon, I will cancel the Amazon order (since they are often late in shipping). Even if it ships, I can resell for around the same price with no loss.

Thanks for posting this. I ordered Snow White along with Home Alone on Blu-ray ($16.49) for free shipping. I'd been waiting for an item that I could combine with HA for a few weeks.

I was using "snowhite" with one "w." But, I have now figured why the promo would not work for me. Amazon issued me $11 in store credit about a month ago for adjusting the price of an item from my wish list to shopping cart checkout page within seconds. Since I complained that the price had changed as I was about to purchase the item, they issued me the difference in price as credit. Problem is that they issued that credit as a promotion. I didn't know that. So, the "snowhite" promo would not work on my account with that other unused promo on my account at the same time. The only solution was to use up my $11 promo on one order, allowing me to use the "snowhite" $10 off promo on a second order. What a headache. At least now, I know for future reference that multiple promos on Amazon don't mix.

Maybe it was something specific about the type of promo that they issued you, because I was able to recently order Kingdom Hearts DS on Amazon (33.99) using 3 promos. I had a 10 dollar video game credit on my account from a previous promotion. Then I used the promo code KINGDOM5 to get an additional $5 off. Then I used a 10% ECA Discount Code, and was able to get the game for a total of 15.59 shipped.

Also, I just realized the benefit of the fact that it's a dollar more for the DVD packaging, in that I didn't have to add anything else to my cart that I didn't really want to qualify for free shipping (and if they choose to price adjust it later so that both packages are the same price, I should get my dollar back and still get free shipping)

Perhaps it was the kind of promotion Amazon put on my account. It is very strange indeed. But, once that $11 promo was used on my first order, the "snowhite" promo worked like a charm on the next one. I can't explain it.

Never had problems using those $10 off coupons at BB here in HI. At least the Aiea store. That being said I went ahead and picked up a copy from Amazon.com along with Blue Thunder. I will pick up another copy at BB with $10 off coupon code as a gift for someone. I also picked up the steelbook case when it was first offered.

I don't know if someone has mentioned this. You get $8 off if you buy Show White blu-ray and Tinker Bell blu-ray. Get extra $10 off if you also buy Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure blu-ray. So all three together to get $28 off.

Thanks OP! Was going to the BB steelbook route, but the steelbook isn't that important to me--would rather save the tax.

Edit: forgot about the Disney upgrade coupon--I could get the steelbook @BB for the same price, but last time I went to my local store, they didn't have the pre-order cases. I'll just pre-order @amazon now, and if I happen to be in BB and see the steelbooks in stock, I'll cancel it.

No difference in the contents. One version in a Blu-Ray box, and one in a DVD box.

the steelbook case is worth the 7.50. So if you preorder from BB and amazon, total's 22.49. Not bad considering a Used OOP Snow White DVD is more.

There's now a coupon code "TINKSNOW" to get the $8 Off when buying Snow White and Tinker Bell & The Lost Treasure. Works on both the Blu-Ray and DVD versions of Tinker Bell. I don't know if you can combine the two coupon codes.

I mentioned it on the first page. Got all three blu-rays for $46.47 shipped.

Actually, you could probably save $1-$2 buying the first Tinker Bell blu-ray through Amazon Marketplace. A couple sellers have new copies for $10 + $3 shipping.

I just purchased Snow White Blu Ray and received the $10 off with no problem. Much better than the Disney coupon. I must have tried to print the Disney coupon no less than two dozen times and couldn't get it to work. I even sent them an e mail and got some condescending form e mail back telling me to join Disney Rewards which I already had! Guess I don't need the Steel Book from Best Buy. Thank you to whoever discovered this. And yes, I'm a Prime member. I do 90% of all of my shopping on Amazon. I love Amazon. No tax and no shipping!
