Is this still working for people? For some reason Amazon keeps rejecting the coupon for me I'm spelling it SNOWHITE too... only one H.

Edit - Never mind, I must have some conflicting promotion stuck on my account. It works fine for my wife's account... weird.

Since I shop there all the titme, I didn't think it was worth the effort. I did make them verify that the $5 was added to the card.
I' not sure what's up at TRU. I notices that my receipt made no mention of the pre-order, so I went back, cancelled it, and got my $5 pre-order charge back.

So, I got the Blu-ray + a $5 gift card for 6.64 total and I also cancelled my Best Buy pre-order.

End results... Blu-ray and steelbook for $1.64 total! Pretty good for not having to sell stuff on eBay or Half.com.

I posted here right after I placed the order the day before yesterday (10/13). It shipped this morning. I don't know why it's not working for you. It worked for me just fine.

I still can't get it to work.

I called Amazon and got an agent in India who said that the promotions department told her the new promotion is for $8 off, but only if you buy SNOW WHITE and some TINKERBELL crap. Then she checked with them again and said that they are indeed still honoring the SNOWHITE code, but that people are having trouble with it not being processed. They said that if I placed the order and paid full price, the promotions department would immediately credit my account. This didn't sound right to me, so I called back and this time spoke to someone in India who sounded like Norman Bates' mother and took 20 minutes to tell me that the only promotion currently available was for the SNOW WHITE/TINKERBELL purchase.

Does anyone have a customer service number for Amazon that does not go to India?

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure has dropped to $23.49. Hopefully it'll drop to $19.99 by release day. The folks that ordered the combo deal should get a refund through the Pre-Order Price Guarantee.

I've found that the very few times that I've had to call Amazon (they actually do a pretty damned good job getting things right) and needed to speak to someone in the US that I had to be prepared to call and hang up over and over again and not give up and call during normal business hours in the states.

I'm not saying that's the only way, but it's the best way and the only way that's worked for me.

I also have noticed they're doing better with e-mail questions, because I think they just want to make you happy.

If you write a really good e-mail explaining there is a promo code of snowhite for the BD and you tell them something like it's worked for all your friends, but that it's not working for you, you'll probably get someone to help you or just be willing to give you a $10 credit to your account which just as good.

That's assuming the code is still good. That I wouldn't know about.

Good luck.

This. They don't beat around the bush as much via e-mail.

Re: Snow White - $9.99 at Amazon with $10 Off Coupon Code

I did wind up going the E Mail route and found that much more helpful than going through the Bombay exchange. Basically they said that even they could not get the code to work, so they offered to reduce the price of the DVD by $10, which was the exact same discount as if I had been able to use the code. So it did pay to be persistent and I would definitely recommend using the E mail customer service option rather than the phone. Thanks to everyone here for their suggestions!
