Finally. I've been waiting for a $10 price on that one. Picked it up with Avatar. Just under $30 for both - free shipping, no tax. That works for me.

They were even cheaper than that at one point last year - there was a coupon specifically on Kill Bill 1&2. I think I paid $4 each when it was all said and done, and was able to sell my DVDs in the collector's box on amazon for $20. They look and sound fantastic - solid transfers.

^^^Most definitely. Both Kill Bill volumes can be had for around $20 or less and they're certainly worth the upgrade. They look fantastic. Colors just "pop" on an HDTV.

Both are $16.49 on Amazon right now, and I've been waiting for them to come down to around $11.99 before I bite. I might just give up and get them now.

Still holding out for The Whole Bloody Affair....yes, I know. It's in the works or it's done or whatever but I won't budge till I get them as a gift or it's released as TWBA set.

Not $9.99, but I think it's a good deal:

24 Season 7 - $29.99

Sons of Anarchy: Season One down to $23.99, just came up on my price tracker & grabbed one, previous low $30,

ETA: Blu-ray.com shows same pricing/price drop on Lie to Me: Season One, don't need that one though.

How I Met Your Mother: Season Four is also down to $22.99. Looks like a smattering of Fox TV BD on sale.

Amazon's dropped Forrest Gump to $16.99. I, generally, don't pay that much for a catalog title, but I'm on the verge of jumping since the lowest it was prior to this was $19.99. What do you all think? Will this title go lower in the near future?

I dunno about near. Though....I'd wait unless that's a movie you really like. Seems like from the features side of things it has all the DVD ones in SD () but also some meatier ones in HD. And the picture and sound seem to be top notch. So at that price it's still good. Personally though I'm holding off.

Not sure anyone really knows... but most titles can and will be had for at least a $13 price point at sometime.

Wow, $4 each I would have jumped on that deal. For now, I'm being very selective on what I buy. Even with the upgrade in video and sound of Blu, I'm still content enough with DVD that I haven't been upgrading too many titles. Keep bringing prices down to the sub-$10 level and I'll probably bite.

$10 is my threshold too, for the most part.

Planet Terror is $9.49 today if you add it to cart from the "Today's Deals/Gold Box" page.

I don't think it was available on VHS, HD-DVD, or Blu-Ray, but thanks for clarifying

That's a YMMV -- the Quick Picks section on Today's Deals/Gold Box are different for everyone as it generated from your unique searches and previous purchases (and some general randomness). For example, today I have BDs for the Pirates of Caribbean trilogy, Ponyo and Mystery Train:CC, along with a pair of DVDs and a carbon monoxide alarm.

So when you go the the Planet Terror page, there is not a "Gold Box" button where the Add To Cart one would be?
