Spoiler:
In the spirit of Rogue588’s list of quotes a couple weeks ago, here are some from Last week’s LOST thread:
Hubcap is “really about to bail out on this show”
RichC2 will roundhouse kick the next person that gets him Iced tea.
HE Pennypacker on Enter 77 – “one of the GREATEST episodes of Lost evAr.”
Achau9598 – “Lost can still be captivating and move the story along”
Maxfisher just doesn’t care about it anymore and doesn’t see himself buying the DVD
lotsofdvds insists that “everyone on this island is retarded”
Groucho – “In honor of the death of Mrs. Clue, I ceremoniously shot my Clue Notebook after watching [Enter 77].”
OldDude, Robertwoj and a few others spent the majority of 4-5 pages of posts discussing chess.
mrpayroll – “Locke has become the most worthless character on this show … [Sawyer]’s character has also become a joke this season.”. Also thinks backstories have become just filler.
nateman241 is willing to bet that “by the end of the season only 10 million people will be watching the show”
porieux is of the opinion that “Lost is one of the only things worth watching on TV at all, period”. The viewers that have dropped the show “are not worhy”
Mercury&Solace had a fine bitch & moan, stating how sick and frustrated they were about this “mostly garbage of a season” that kept “dragging shit out”
… but, hold the phones, don’t get them wrong … They still love the show!
vegasbaby is utterly convinced that “next season will be [Lost]’s last”.

I'll be tuning in, but I'm really starting to feel like the sap who sticks with someone that treats them like shit, just hoping that things go back to the way they were in the beginning of the relationship. At least it's only an hour a week of my life.

By the way, things NEVER go back to how they were.

I'm nowhere near giving up on Lost. But I am starting to feel a Smallville vibe out of it. I gave up on that one after 5 seasons. You need more than just awesome premieres and finales. Lost has a long way to fall before it reaches that level.

Believing or hoping they will change and we can help them. This is a biggie for many victims. It is the first big hurdle to overcome if a person is going to leave, and one of the biggest challenges for recognizing the need to stay away. In their heart, victims love the person they know the abuser can be. We want to help them, we see their struggle in life, and we want to fix the problem in the relationship and feel we are responsible to help. The person who becomes trapped in these relationships is kind hearted, giving, and empathetic.
When the victim leaves or after abuses while they stay, the abuser goes through sorrows, desperate pleas for forgiveness and endless promises to reform. What we fail to recognize is the extreme emotional and psychological problem these partners have. We are not qualified to help them. What we end up doing, although it's not what we intend, is enabling the abuser to be what they are. We believe we understand, can help or make a difference, and so we stay or go back. The truth is we become the enabler. We are the one who enables the abuser to be what they are, by accepting and attempting to forgive these abuses over and over. The victim is so deeply involved in the relationship and the desire to help the partner, that we cannot see we are perpetuating the problem. In reality, we reinforce the behavior. Recognizing the fact that we cannot change all this is the first step toward ending the relationship permanently.

as much as this show has been pissing me off lately, I will be tuned in front of my TV at 10. Each week I tell myself, It was to get better now. Hopefully the turn around will be tonight.

And there's the big 'reveal'.
I'm more happy over the fact the writers got one over on everybody and Locke isn't the bumbling idiot they portrayed him as in the last episode. He has his reasons for staying on the island, i.e. to keep from being paralyzed.

At least its getting back to its adventure elements these past two episodes, Kate straddling anything makes for good entertainment.
The quality still isn't as high as it used to be, but at least it's trying.
Now lets see Jack's dad being everybody's father. That'll be the key connection, they're all related.
Edit: Desmond needs to just hold a damn town meeting.
