Have you visited the front page of Anime News Network today? If you have then you might have noticed something… interesting. In the upper left corner we included the box art for the Nobunagun release. A few fans were quick to notice, so if you were one of them–good job!

Now, fans have had a few questions about the release, especially concerning Blu-ray rights, so we’ll clear those up for you now. Nobunagun will be available on Blu-ray and DVD in summer of 2015. Unfortunately, it is not available for pre-order on our site yet, but we’ll let everyone know as soon as it is. Please note that the box art for this release is not final yet and is subject to change.

HOUSTON, December 18, 2014 – Sentai Filmworks is proud to announce its latest acquisition, Hayate the Combat Butler: Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. Based on the popular title published serially in Weekly Comic Magazine SHONEN SUNDAY, and with animation production by manglobe Inc. (Samurai Champloo), this third season of the Hayate the Combat Butler series forges a new path with an original anime story based on a series concept by original author Kenjirou Hata.

It was a tumultuous summer, but it's drawn to a close and things have returned to normal at Sanzenin Mansion -- when suddenly a phone call is received from the Nevada police! "Have your father's belongings been found?" a voice asks. "No. I have no interest in such things," replies Nagi, as nonchalant as ever. But then a mysterious girl arrives, claiming what could be either a shocking truth or utter nonsense!

Go Nagai World. First release in the US! It will have Japanese language with English subtitles.

Lupin the 3rd Jigen's Gravestone on DVD and Blu Ray! This will be our first title to have a brand new English dub! It will also include Japanese with English subtitles.

Get ready for an action-packed and awesomely-animated new show—and the first original TV animated series from Wit Studio, the powerhouse that brought you Attack on Titan! After Wit Studio burst through the gates with Attack on Titan as their first animated series, both fandom and industry have been closely following to see what they’ll bring us next. Right Stuf Announces Exclusive Distribution Deal with Pony Canyon, Inc.!

Right Stuf, Inc. is excited to announce an exclusive distribution deal with Japanese anime producer and distributor PONY CANYON INC.

This new agreement will see high-end, collector-grade Blu-ray, DVD, and merchandise items from Pony Canyon distributed in the United States and Canada for the first time by Right Stuf. Pony Canyon has plans to release exclusive sets of new and catalog programming monthly. The first of these series sets are slated for release on April 10, 2015.

Right Stuf's President and CEO Shawne Kleckner couldn't be more excited about this new arrangement. "We're delighted to work with Pony Canyon, one of the leading marketers of Japanese animation," Kleckner said. "We feel their collector-grade products will be of great interest to our customer base."

PONY CANYON INC.'s Executive Director Kazuyoshi Fukuba is also enthusiastic about this collaboration and the launch of PONYCAN in the North American market. FUNimation Acquires Rights for Yatterman Night!

We’re excited to announce yet another addition to our winter simulcast lineup — Yatterman Night!

Fans of classic anime will recognize the original beloved Yatterman franchise from Tatsunoko Production, the pioneers of Japanese animation behind such hits as Speed Racer and Gatchaman. Yatterman Night is a completely new series with new characters, aimed at an older audience with some darker modern elements, so it’ll be a great watch for fans of the original property and other anime fans alike!

The first episode of Yatterman Night will premiere on Tuesday, January 13th, with subsequent episodes streaming shortly after Japanese broadcast at 10:30 AM EST/9:30 AM CST on Sundays.

Synopsis
Long, long ago, a pair of heroes called the Yatterman faced off against the mischievous Doronbow Gang, led by the sexy villainess Doronjo. Now, years later, the Yatter Kingdom is protected by the new Yatterman. But the mysterious new Yatterman have forced the Yatter people into labor, and unrest runs rampant throughout the kingdom.
