LOS ANGELES, CA - AUGUST 2022 - Ascendent Animation is proud to announce their latest acquisition of, “Show Time!”. Alongside this acquisition, we are also proud to announce the production of an English dub of the series.

Show Time! is being dubbed in partnership with the Japanese company WWWave Corporation. The show is based off of a Japanese manga written and illustrated by the artist, Mai Girigiri.

After the passing of Shoji's wife, “The Sing Along! Show” became a crux of healing for him and his young daughter Kana. After a chance meeting with the show's beautiful singing starlet, Minami, Shoji tries to start up a relationship—but is this single father ready to handle the realities of dating a TV personality? And can Minami ever find love working in an industry that requires her to keep up a pure and innocent appearance?

The show follows an adult romantic storyline, featuring dramatic moments and relationship woes. Each episode runs about 8 minutes long. P.M. Seymour (Demon King Evelogia, Gunvolt 3, Genshin Impact), will be directing and adapting the English version. Steve Warky Nunez (Luminous Avenger IX-2, Sonic the Hedgehog), will helm the audio engineering/mixing, and Localization Supervisor will be Kevin Frane (428 Shibuya Scramble, Resonance of Fate, Demon King Evelogia). Once more, K. Cornell Kellum (Vice Squad, The Titan's Bride, Henkei Shoujo), will return as Executive Producer.

When asked about the show, Seymour said, “Show Time!, whilst containing adult content, is overwhelmingly wholesome and provided something I was dying to see in a long time for anime; lead characters in their 30's!"

Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO officially hit theaters in the United States Thursday evening and it's already on its way to a massive weekend, with more than $10.7 million summoned at the box office during its Thursday/Friday opening day!

The box office receipts mark an official total of $10,745,254 from 3,007 locations. The latest film in the legendary Dragon Ball franchise marks the widest theatrical release for Crunchyroll in North America and the widest opening for an anime film ever, with more than 3,900 screens booked. Here's the per-day breakdown:

Crunchyroll to Bring One Piece Film Red to Theaters in November

New One Piece movie to release in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand

The latest One Piece theatrical experience is coming to theaters soon! Crunchyroll is announcing today that One Piece Film Red will come to theaters in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand this November. Tickers for Australia and New Zealand will go on sale on October 5, with North American tickets going on sale starting October 6. The release dates for each region are as follows.

• Australia and New Zealand: November 3
• United States and Canada: November 4

Additionally, Crunchyroll and Toei Animation will host subtitled and dub premieres of the film in the United States and Australia. Fans in Australia can see the subtitled premiere at Crunchyroll Expo Australia on Friday, September 16, with more information available here. The North American premiere will be held in New York on Thursday, October 6 to coincide with New York Comic Con.
