Didn't pick up anything this Black Friday since I already have enough to play for the rest of the year and then some, but I have a bunch of XBox credit and was thinking of getting Horizon 2 just to have a racing game. I really enjoyed the free Fast and Furious version - if i'm not a big car guy and just want to mess around, is the standard version @ $25 fine? I assume the other editions just basically include more cars?

Question : Every. Time my son wants to sign into his Xbox account (under the family Gold account) on my XO, he has to enter his own email password. Is there any way in the settings where he can just select his profile on my home XO and go ahead and log in the way I do (and the way he does on the 360)? Thanks.

Yup,
I'm not a car guy by any stretch, but I spent a ridiculous amount of time in Horizon 2.
The Island add-on is pretty sweet too.

Almost. That's what I kept trying to do and without success. Then it occurred to me -- I had to log in as him and then change the preferences for sign in.

So what exactly would be a damn fine deal for a X1? Apparently I've been tasked to find a deal for my friends's xmas gift. I want an X1 too but I haven't really cared to get one yet. Or a PS4. Are we expecting them to go cheaper than $299 anytime soon?

$299 bundles are pretty standard and I doubt you'll see them much lower, so a fine deal would be anything lower like the deal TGM posted or look for any other included free stuff - extra games, a controller, XBox Live, whatever.

I haven't played it. Here's what a guy on CAG said:
game seems fine, i played the beta long ago and thought it sucked badly but they improved the visuals and no problems with online right now (it is a online only game though, like need for speed destiny etc). I mean its not going to blow anyone away, but its a lot of content for $20 and you won't see that price again for a year or two for all thats included.
Its REALLY fun if you have a friend to play with, since you can race each other and do challenges / missions together.

I haven't been online today so this may be too late for you but I just picked up a X1 and EA sports game for $322 after tax. Target is giving a free EA sports game with X1, today they had a cartwheel (Target app) coupon for 15% off a system. They still had the X1 in store with the $50 discount from BF. I got the 1tb GoW holiday bundle for $349, minus 15% and NHL 16. They had it online with a free 3 month Live card. I have been waiting since I missed Gamestop's deal with a free game and controller a couple of weeks ago.

Speaking of controllers, I pretty much hate the original Xbox One controller quite a bit. The bumpers are way too stiff, and the sticks are way too loose.
Now I hear they addressed the bumpers when they revised the controller and added the headphone jack, but as far as I know the sticks remain the same. I really want an Elite controller, mostly for PC use, but I wouldn't dream of dropping that kind of cash if the sticks still felt the same.
Can anyone tell me if they feel any different on the Elite, maybe with the shorter sticks installed?
