Me too. I'm playing that almost exclusively, though I may switch over to some objective based stuff today just to try it out.

I'm actually enjoying the whole game much more than I thought I would. I thought I was all done with CoD and really had no intentions to pick this one up until I found myself driving by a Gamestop yesterday afternoon.

Good to know. I haven't been able to sign on since I downloaded it.

I can't login/sign-up on the web page, but the 360 app was working okay yesterday. I got dropped a couple times (connection lost), but it went back to the main menu and restarted both times.

So there's a nice glitch in the game. Playing single player and doing the mission where you meet up with the resistance. You are crawling in a building with Soap. Well it says to follow him, but he won't move. If you move past him it alerts the guards. He just sits on the floor, motionless. I've had him sit there for 5 minutes and he does nothing. And now I have to restart the mission.

So what is everyone's go to weapon? I love the UMP with rapid fire, SOH Pro, Quick Draw Pro, and Stalker Pro on most maps. On some of the larger maps I've been using the Scar-L. Still in the 20's, so I'm looking forward to unlocking some better assault rifles.

It's exactly why I refuse to buy into this MW crap anymore. It's about as bad as Madden. "Let's make some improvements to the multiplayer, give them a crap campaign, and then release it and say it's 'new'!"

Depending on the type of single player campaign the game is going for, the more linear approach works better. For something like Call of Duty which attempts at a more cinematic experience and deliberately lead you along to trigger cool "scenes" it makes sense. There's still games like Bioshock that have a good amount of exploration.

Personally, I can do with the big level while wandering around looking for key cards.

Re: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (PS3, 360...)

I just finished up the campaign and really enjoyed it. Took me about 7 hours. I thought it was much better than MW2 and BO. A lot better than the Battlefield 3 campaign too. I'm not sure the multi is going to hold me over for a long time tho. The Special Ops has been fun but with all the games out and coming out I might trade this in pretty quickly to get the ~40 bucks back out of it.

Color Blind help option

Kill Confirm

finally COD is fun again, Black Ops was just a piece of crap. My favorite gun to use is the UMP. People actually die when u hit them, have some great matches and crappy matches but at least I'm having a blast.

I feel the opposite right now (currently @ Lv. 22). Multiplayer largely feels like a step back, save for a few additions. The maps are mostly dull and I've yet to encounter to a large/epic map, nor a really fun small, close quarters one.

The G36 is my favorite gun. I also use the ACR quite a bit. On the tinier maps I go with the UMP.

Yep. I've seen people on other forums have the same exact problem.

Yeah its really nice to be able to call in your own UAV before trying to drop an air strike.

Just don't hold on to your rewards for too long because unlike past games you can't have two of one reward at the same time. If you earn two care packages without using the first one you lose it when you earn the second one.

i figured out what the problem is. if you somehow get the dogs to notice you in the room before that, it won't trigger that event to make you progress.

i think i read one of the earlier ones was like $50 - $60 million, but I could be wrong. yeah, this older article says $40 - $50 million, but also like $200 million in marketing: http://articles.latimes.com/2009/nov...s/fi-ct-duty18

Is anyone doing the Dew/Doritos cards? I'm looking for a few and have a few to trade if anyone is interested.

I loved the campaign.
Spoiler:
The Eiffel Tower falling down gave me goosebumps.

I can see why people may be upset. I rented it from Redbox and beat it one sitting. Literally, I didn't have to get up.

I'm rolling through the single player now on Veteran - hard, but very entertaining.
