^ if im not mistaken, i think those are different store exclusives with the same slipcovers (bonus disk, comic, or whatever else is in them).

i dont recall any of the fox studio classics coming with slipcovers, so im guessing no.

dang, when you described it first, i just skimmed and i was thinking something like terminator 2 or highlander immortal. but it doesnt even cover the whole back of the dvd ug! i dunno what to call...

i always thought a slip cover was, just like you mentioned, top loading.

as for dark city, constantine, et al, slip case seems appropriate.

so technically, they are not the same, but dark city...
