Why would Warner Bros. want to block a trailer on "copyright" or any other grounds? Don't they want to publicize the film? Or do they want to keep it a secret? Guys like me, who are Godzilla fans but don't go to theaters often or watch commercial TV, rarely get a chance to see trailers except in forums like this.

I call bullshit because I saw Shazam at the Newpark Mall AMC Imax and other than a new trailer I did not get the 5 minutes we were promised...I like the seats which recline at the Cinemark XD I usually frequent and will no longer fall for any bait and switch promotions from imax in the future.
if I sound pissy it is because I only saw it at my local imax to be treated to the Godzilla footage. The trailer I saw did not feel like it was 5m long but I could be wrong and will eat crow if someone says I was wrong.

That extended scene was fantastic. Man, they spent a shitload of money on the CGI. Looks epic.

I wasn’t impressed with the graininess/darkness of the image at the IMAX screening before Shazam. I’m hoping it looks better in the actual movie. I’ll be seeing it in a Dolby Cinema anyway.

I swear I am not a negative person ... but I’m with Brack. The IMAX taste didn’t do too much for me. Something was off in the look of it.

The trailer looked great on the IMAX screen, but it's mainly a 3-min sequence and then shots from various points. Some have been in trailers, but I believe some weren't. But it looks tremendous. And the sound was suitably earth-shaking. I'll probably go ahead and see this at the Air and Space IMAX when it premieres. This thing needs to be seen on the biggest screen to be worthy of the King!

I hope this is better than the Gareth Edwards film. That looked good from the trailers/previews too, but I found it kind of disappointing. The best part of the last film was the opening with Cranston, which is far too short.
