They've done this at least once before iirc. But your post reminds me that I totally forgot to stock up in their Black Friday sale, booger.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Ending 12/14/14 from Avatar, a bundle only sale on Uber. The first 22 issues for $25. Anyone read this?
https://www.comixology.com/Uber-Sale...Z2VDYXJvdXNlbA

Today's Marvel Monday is on some more Uncanny X-Men, issues 200-243 at $.99 per. This was all Claremont and Silvestri, and wasn't the greatest period of X-Men iirc.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Fun fact:

If you've been purchasing all the Uncanny X-Men older issue sales there have been over the last few months (I believe there's been 3) You now own all of Claremont's 16 year run (Except for a couple issues, maybe.)

I have been buying them, and I'm so happy.

Darn you Bob! [justification]I didn't realize I owned so much of it already. Went ahead and bought it on the Marvel app, using iTunes credit purchased at 15% off.[/justification]

That'll make a nice Sci-Fi/Fantasy month Challenge, reading his whole run.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I'm just excited because when I was a kid and got into comics, it was right at the tail end of his run. I spent my childhood reading old issues from those 16 years, and X-Men became my favorite comic.
Now I can go back and read the run, in it's entirety.

Oh, BTW, Comixology's Creator of the Week is Ross Campbell
The first deal for him is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #29 for $1 with the code CAMPBELL

I read the first issue of Uber and liked it enough to grab the bundle.

I hope Amazon will match the Scott Pilgrim sale, I have a bunch of Kindle credits to use.

EDIT: Looks like they have matched it.

Lumberjanes was free before. I picked up the bundles because of Ennis and Ellis but I don't know a thing about any of these series.

Yeah, I tried to get Lumberjanes but I already owned it so it was removed from my cart. That's the first deal I tried to get in this promotion.
