The season finale airs next week, but airs this Sunday in Canada. Please be courteous and keep finale discussion and spoilers out of this thread. Not everyone here is watching or looking for Canadian Internet streams.

It's been a good, but really convoluted season. I kind of miss Kiera looking for a way to get home.

Enjoyed the season as well but found it convoluted too. There were times when I would start watching an episode and would stop it thinking maybe I missed an episode. Was worried from the beginning once they got to multiple futures.

Re: Continuum (S3E12) -- "The Dying Minutes" -- 6/20/14

Well that changes things even more.

1) I figured Sonia was dead immediately upon her bench conversation with Travis. Felt really bad for him.

2) I hope Kira picks up that Sonia warned her to get out of the room.

3) Really wonder who the tech guy from Babylon 5 is - that or a Mass Effect character. I wonder if it's really the original time keeper they mention. However I'm starting to think the Freelancers as protectors of the timeline is all bogus.

4) I wonder if anybody ever travels to the future and/or back again.

5) I call vs Dillon is still alive.

How is next week the season finale already?

Really no clue how this show will wrap up. At this point I couldn't see Kira getting back to her timeline and family, Liber8 being stopped and the corporations in check to the government. It would be too tidy and really not mesh with where all of the characters have been.

What did the Traveler say to Catherine? I couldn't make it out.

These.

I have no idea where things are going from here. Looks like the time traveling Liber8 has disbanded, Kiera's original timeline is gone and she'd stopped trying to get back - so what's her goal?

Thy will need at least another season to wrap up the stories. I'd hope that when they do end it, Kiera is able to get back to her family.

. RIP Sonya. Going to miss Lexa Doig on this show. Man, did she look sexy as the nerdy scientist.

Wow, wasn't expecting that at all. Plus she took out Dillon as well.

This show is nothing at all like how it started. It's really gone full out as a serialized science fiction thriller with political elements.

The timelines on this show are so screwed up right now. It's a headache trying to figure things out and everyone's allegiances.

Chen has also gone off the deep end too. Looks like he's a player in the finale.

I wonder if someone does something to reset the timeline, if it can be done at all by this point.

I'm wondering the same too. I almost wouldn't be surprised if we go back to either the first time jump, or same point as this year. I figure they'd take the opportunity to show how direct changes can help affect the timeline.

Might Alec even have to go back so he can allow Emily's death?

The show has multiple timelines, flashbacks, flashforwards, and an instance of someone being merged from two timelines. Being dead doesn't mean being off the show.

You're right, especially since Chen was brought back.

I'm guessing Lexa Doig and Jennifer Spence who were both killed off are still under contract to the show should a scenario like that come about.

The show already completed it's run in Canada. Hopefully Showcase announces a renewal for a 4th season. Syfy piggybacks off them keeping the show on the air. Canadian produced shows usually don't last a lot of seasons, but Continuum definitely needs at least 1 more season.

They will want enough episodes for a syndication run. The show will likely run as long as Rachel Nichols is under her first contract. The show would get too expensive to re-up her after it runs out.

One thing that's odd is how different the Alecs are when one is just a week ahead of the other.

I wonder what would happen if they merged.
