You have to hand it to trump... it's not many shows that can jump the shark this many seasons in a row.
Andrew Dice Clay, Dennis Rodman, Tom Green, Jesse James, a Playboy Playmate, Joan AND Melissa Rivers, and the less-famous Kardahsian?
Anyone remember when "The Apprentice" was sort of serious?

Did you even watch the first Celebrity Apprentice? Yes, it was populated by has-beens and B-listers, but it was by far the show's most entertaining season (and I've seen them all). The banter between Trace Adkins and the Trump clan alone made the show worth watching,
I can't wait for this.

It looks like they're not even trying to put on the facade of having celebrities with "business experience" like they tried to convince us last season (and which only applied to half the contestants at best).

I don't care about this concept of The Apprentice at all. The previous editions with people actually fighting for a job with Trump were much more compelling. I know alot of people weren't fans of the last Apprentice in Los Angeles. but I still thought it was much better than what I saw of this Celebrity nonsense.

I watched the last one purely because of the ATG Lennox. I then became a fan of Trace and Piers.
There isn't a castmate that draws me to this season at all. No thanks.

My wife and I will probably watch it just because there probably won't be anything else on and also because we've watched all the other seasons to date. I didn't think the last season would be good, but it was actually vaguely entertaining in parts.

I agree. I had stopped watching The Apprentice after the first 2, but watched the Celebrity version and found it quite entertaining.

Same deal, the first season was great, the second was just okay so I gave up, but the celebrity version was very entertaining. I guess its just something about adding stupidity in with ego.

Yeah. The only one that jumped out was Gene Simmons, but it didn't matter. I barely knew Trace, but he was fun to watch - so laid back, but full of good marketing ideas.

The Apprentice Gets 2-Hour Episodes
According to one of the trades, episodes for The Apprentice will run 2 hours this season to fit in more of the boardroom. Or should I say "bored"room.
NBC plans to run two-hour episodes of "The Apprentice" when the Donald Trump reality-competition show returns next year, TelevisionWeek reports. "Donald has always felt the boardrooms were too short, and I think he’s right," executive producer Mark. Burnett tells TVWeek. "Right now, there’s really only about nine minutes of footage that we use and the boardroom [scenes] go on for hours sometimes. The problem has been trying to squeeze it all in. Every season we go through the struggle of cutting the show down."
