This is easily the most frustrating game I've ever played.
Regardless of where you hit the ball (escept a home run), the batter runs through first base and into right field, before peeling back towards first. It is virtually impossible to hit a double or triple. I have had to stop playing this game before I put my foot through the TV.
As if this wasn't enough, the camera angles (or should I say angle) is lacking, and the fielders seem to have a magnetic field around them that grabs any ball hit near them. Even the pitcher will catch any ball hit back up the middle, regardless of how hard it is hit.
I read bad reviews of this game, but thought it couldn't be that bad. I was right; it's worse.

I have played both and All Star easily beats out Triple Play....if you want unrealistic baseball(Arcade)..then Triple Play will be to your liking!!!
With everything that All Star Baseball has.....I cannot wait until they perfect this title(hopefully) with next years release!!!

wtf are you talking about junior? after playing triple play I picked this game up, after two days I must say this game kicks ass. the last game I played I had 5 runs on 13 hits, only 1 solo homerun. just keep playing and get the controls down and you will be fine.

I've played the arcadish Triple Play and don't like it much. All-Star is ok but the outfield play kills it for me.I haven't tried High Heat for PS2 or PC but looks like that will be my next option.
