That game was sweet. I still remember the music! Did the updated version have the same music? Wow, I just found the theme on Napster!

I played through the entire 20 minutes, so I guess I did (it just wraps around the levels, you're just supposed to score the highest you can, which if you took a pic of the screen and sent it in, you'd get a Pitfall patch

Actually if I remember correctly, there was a set number of gold bars, silver bars Etc. in the game, so that makes me think that there was an ending.
I got the Pitfall patch, River Raid patch, and the one from the sub marine game. Hands down, Activision made the best games for the 2600. No one else was close.

It was years ago though. When you collected all the bars the game ended
