For good or bad?

The 🤬 Virtual Game Cards in the last Switch Update… interesting idea on paper, horrible in execution.

The PS3 added support for 3D Blu-rays via an update.

Really? I like it. My son in college and I can share the same digital games on his Switch and my Switch 2. Easy-peasy

This recent update to the PlayStation Portal has been fabulous.

We have four Switches and Switch 2 in the house, and both digital and physical games. Sharing games between them is hell.

Unsync. Resync. Unsync again… aaarrgghh!!

i don't understand what the big deal with virtual game cards is. It eliminates having to find and put in a cartridge in the console and works seamlessly. what do people have against it, exactly?

See my recent reply above your recent reply.

I know that I am over complicating things by having so many Switches and kids with accounts, but still, they should have considered that.

Bluetooth headset support for the Switch. Can't believe this wasn't an option to begin with. For a time there was even a small market for BT dongles made just for the Switch.

Literally the first firmware update of a console, Online modem on the PS2. Combined with SOCOM, it allowed the PS2 to compete with the year-newer Xbox as a way to play console games online.

Yup, if you have more than two switches it's a pain. Plus you used to be able to take a game like Monster Hunter and play on two switches at once, together.
