I just played through the demo for the first time and really enjoyed it. The hacking mechanic really livens up what could’ve been a traditional dodge/aim/shoot-fest. I’m also intrigued by the demo having demo-specific unlocks upon completion. I wonder if this is going to be a relatively short game with an emphasis on replayability.

I might be there on day one for this, backlog be damned…in contrast to most demos I play, which tend to make me think “nah, never mind”.

Just played the Demo. It’s very cool, though it hurts my brain to do the simple hacking while dodging and shooting. :lol:

I'm at work and can't use their site. But I pulled it up in the PS app on my phone and it was there. Just switch the edition from standard to free demo.

this is a good fucking game thus far. the fluidity of motion, the hovering and then when you get little sister, the fun really begins!

I thought the hacking element would be a glitch to my system, but so far so great. I cannot recommend this game enough. I’m sure the hacking gets harder with tougher enemies, but so far it hasn’t been an impediment. It’s just really fun to play and hacking while the bad guys are still coming at ya makes it quite tense. It looks gorgeous and plays amazingly. I just hope I stick with it. I think I will switch off with this and Mouse. Really having a good time.

A bunch of idiots online are claiming that the people who play the game are all pedophiles. It's totally ridiculous but it's created a divide amongst gamers. That being said, I am sure it's just a group of excessively vocal minorities on either side stirring the pot.

Normally I'd agree. (That's why I won't bother to post any links/videos on the subject.) However, the ones making the claims are on the opposite side of the line where I'd expect to find them. That's the main thing that caught my eye, beyond the stupidity of the claims.

Back on topic, I saw that Game Informer gave it an 8. They stated it's initially fun but grows repetitive, yet too long (around 15 hours) as to outstay its welcome. I guess I should check out the demo, but dunno if the hacking whilst shooting/dodging mechanics will be for me.

i thought that would be my biggest hurdle as well, but it surprisingly works and I haven't blown one hack yet. I'm sure the hacking gets harder, but at least in the very early going it has not been a problem for me and that is saying something bc I suck at those timed puzzles. i skipped most of them in Spider-Man for PS5.

Had a bonus 70 dollar reward certificates dropped in my Best Buy account for using my BB credit card Decided to pick this and another game up for 10 and tax out of pocket after that 70 and another 15 in certificates.

It's also a pleasant surprise when I find something on sale that I kind of wanted but didn't yet buy -- like Kirby Air Riders for $30 on Saturday at Costco.
