Re: PRAGMATA: by Capcom
Just played the demo on the Switch. Pretty fun game so far. But not sure if it's worth full price. I was pretty impressed with the graphics on the Switch. I might try to play it on the PS5 too since I don't have any direct comparison game. The hacking mechanic was a bit difficult to get. But I'm sure I'd lock in pretty quickly. It got a bit complicated on the last boss with switching weapons and hacking. I kept getting them mixed up. But the long play time and mention of repetitiveness is exactly what I'm afraid of. The aesthetic and story seem pretty generic so not sure if it would be worth the play through. But yeah probably on a sale would be great.

Looks like a great game - I may have to pick this one up.

Re: PRAGMATA: by Capcom
this game is so intense. hacking while shooting at multiple bots is a tense, but exhilarating experience. it really is a rush when you hack perfectly and then shoot the shit out of the bots and the scanning/hacking mechanic make it so much fun. i dunno what it is. it is not an easy game for sure, but if i can pick it up, i have hope for anyone else. even the dialogue between Hugh and Diana is not annoying. it's thoughtful and extends the story more. more impact i should say. having a blast and that shot gun you get pretty early on is a hoot to shoot.

I'm seeing a much more wholesome theory. That the pseudo father daughter relationship is encouraging young male gamers to consider having kids. That this might be some conspiracy by capcom/govt to increase the birth rate. I do enjoy games that feature that duo; Bioshock, Donkey Kong Bananza. It hacks into my primordial male brain. |

it really does seem like a father/daughter relationship.

I’ll tell ya, the more I play the more I’m surprised at how much I’m liking this game. This hacking and killing stuff really is unique and handled real well controller wise. Figuring out the puzzles too are quite fun.

What system are you playing it on? It's not getting repetitive?

Having children is one of the greatest purposes in life. As long as you have your children with a thoroughly vetted partner. Unfortunately, social media and other ideologies have made it more difficult and less wanted in the current time we are in. It's wholesome that this game has a father and daughter like relationship between them. Will this be a case where art influences life?

Re: PRAGMATA: by Capcom
Just downed my first boss. What a bitch it was at first. Took me a few tries, but i beat em. he was tough too. the only factor i didn't like is that you go back to the shelter after you get killed, but it's not too far of a backtrack via tram so can't complain too much. there is so much going on in this game, it's crazy. but just the right amount of crazy i can deal with. and that is saying something.

Re: PRAGMATA: by Capcom
I had such an amazing time. I played through it on Normal and immediately went into the Unknown Signal mode afterwards, which I finished this evening. It all seemed a bit on the easy side up until the revamped final boss battle, which I think was the only battle that took me more than 2 attempts.
Definitely my favorite game I’ve played this year so far. Really nicely paced, doesn’t overstay its welcome, doesn’t feel like more of the same. |

Re: PRAGMATA: by Capcom
I started the game this morning and it seems like it will be fun. It does have those Capcomy graphics. I also wish these multitudes of corridors and open spaces looked like they are used for something more than just a place where you battle enemies. Would a space station have so much unused and repetitive space?
