Re: What are you playing? (September 2024)

What a month! I have Astro Bot, Echoes of Wisdom, and Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP preordered, and The Plucky Squire, the Dead Rising remaster, and (don’t judge me!) Funko Fusion are also calling my name.
Astro Bot is definitely next up for me, and I intend to unlock the hidden bots in Astro’s Playroom beforehand.

Top Spin 2k25 was having a 40% sale so I bit. I'll be able to put some time into it this weekend. Now I have a whole year to play it before they pull the plug. Went with the standard at $35, if I really get into it I can always upgrade later, and I'm not a super tennis fan so I don't need a bazillion courts. And cosmetics mean nothing to me.

Finshed:
Emio: The Smiling Man - Not so much a game. Basically, an interactive story. But that story is haunting and will stick with me.
Up Next:
No idea. Something that I can finish before Zelda launches.

I last played this on PS3, so the remake was quite a visual leap for me. There's something genuinely pleasant about watching Joel actually upgrade weapons/gear on the workbench, instead of like other games where the modifications/upgrades just click into being.

I'm more than halfway through Persona 5 Tactica! I don't think I'll be able to resist the siren song of Astro Bot when it's in-hand tomorrow, so it'll be interesting to see how I wind up juggling both games. Thankfully, the relatively bite-sized mission approach to Tactica makes it easy to chip away at.
I also did a quick run to rescue all the secret bots in Astro's Playroom in anticipation of Astro Bot.

My friend texted me about this game, since we love cats. It was on sale for $1, so I bought it. 25minutes later I had all 3000GS. Did not expect that much Gamerscore and how quickly I completed game.

Re: What are you playing? (September 2024)
I got the new "Mars Gardens" dlc course for Walkabout Mini Golf to play on my Quest 2. I played the easy course Saturday, and the hard course last night. There are some fun and challenging holes, but I don't think this will be among my favorite courses. I haven't got the previous dlc course yet (Wallace and Gromit), so I need to catch up on that one.

Rn: Darksiders. Never got to finish as I mentioned as there was a bug on my Xbox version. Starting playing on PS5. Still love it, but a bit too easy thus far. But, I really want to finish what I started and was enjoying.

It’s familiar, easy to get into and always had this nagging urge to finally finish since I never got to on Xbox. I was close, but there was a bug near end and I couldn’t get around it and now, I’m obsessed with finishing.

Re: What are you playing? (September 2024)
I've been having my eye on this puzzle framework for a while and they just had a sale for all of their DLC minus the most recent one, 139 DLC, 3026 jigsaw puzzles total, for $109.24. I've done 15 puzzles so far. It had everything I wanted in an interface except putting the faded puzzle image on the background and I posted about it in the Discussion board on Steam and the dev added it within days.
Super Jigsaw Puzzles Generations.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles I've done so far. There's 4 number of pieces options but I go with the smallest, 60 pieces, which take me 15 minutes on average. You also gain in-game coins to get even more puzzles, haven't counted those. It's 5000 coins and it's a coin a piece placed once puzzle is finished so it takes about 21 hours at my pace or 84 puzzles to unlock each one of those. I plan to finish all puzzles at 60.
