I bought a cheap retro games console on Amazon (it's like a copy of a Mini NES), and there's like 600 games I've never heard of.

I found Pacman, Donkey Kong, a few Super Mario, Galaga, Space Invaders, Tecmo Bowl, i.e. the obvious ones. I even looked for Pong but that's not on there. What else would you recommend?

There's a "User Folder" so I think I can add games as well.

Yeah you basically purchased a bootleg system (probably from China) that plays illegal Rom files.

I don't think anyone can add more to the discussion because Roms are technically illegal.

He's not asking about how to obtain illegal rom files. Nothing wrong with a discussion on what retro games to check out.

So are they just NES era games?

Some of the Disney Capcom games are pretty good.

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers 1 and 2.

You should definitely try Jackal if they have it. It's a bit of a hidden gem. It's a top down shooter by Konami where you play as a jeep.

Super Punch Out needs to be on any retro list. If it plays MAME, I love Wrestlefest, Popeye and Mat Mania.

So what platforms are we talking about? NES only? That era? Up to SNES/Genesis or beyond?

I saw [probably] the same exact one over the weekend at the State Fair. I've seen it at Cons and mall kiosks too. I say "probably" the same one because I distinctly remember reading the 600 games bit.

I didn't really look that much further into it as I have the mini NES & SNES loaded. I only have games specific to each console on there though. A bunch of arcade classics would be nice until I can get a full arcade machine up and running.
