• Fixed an issue where the player could remain undetected in high grass while performing aggressive actions

• Adjusted weapon aiming (spread, recoil, etc.) to allow for more precision and management
• Updated weapon damage values for Kay for all weapons
• Increased headshot damage when hitting enemies

• Added enemy stagger to explosions
• Added body part-specific death animations to improve combat satisfaction

It was only available through the Epic store and Ubisoft, it just made it to Steam. Notice how it says Introductory Offer in the price rectangles. Also release date 11/21/2024, just got added yesterday.

You know, I’m really enjoying it. Huge, lots of stuff to do. Not too difficult, but not a cake walk. Does actually fell like you’re a part of that particular world. I’ve always been a bit of a sucker for Ubisoft open world games, and this one seems to work a lot better than Avatar, which always felt pretty dumb to me. I’m only like 10 hours in so far, but really liking what I’ve seen, even if there’s a ton of customization and upgrades I’m still really fuzzy on how to use.
I gotta figure out how to get my gun to blast open cracked mossy walls. Left a bunch of treasure uncollected because I haven’t figured it out yet. And it’s total bullshit that a rocket launcher can’t open these walls! :mad:

Well, I’ve finished it. At least the Story. And several side missions. 55 hours total. I enjoyed it. Like I said, I’m a sucker for Ubisoft Open World games. I get involved in the gameplay loop. I just wanted to wrap this up before starting Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
I got to the ending, which I liked as a set piece, and story-wise, but was just stunned and annoyed that

New patch out today finally fixes the annoying issue that Kay couldn't shoot while on her speeder until her meter was full. Now at last she can shoot back at enemies while on her speeder. Better late than never I guess.

Don't mean this as a jab at the game in particular, but the complete jank of the movement of, what I assume is default UE5 is VERY noticeable after playing GoY. None of the movement or climbing has any real weight to it.

Pretty fun so far, otherwise. I'm only about an hour past the title scroll, where you leave the starting planet.

Picked up both DLCs for 50% off on PSN. The season pass is still full price but the DLCs separately are on sale.

I'm assuming I still have a long way to go in the main story as well.
