It’ll be fun to go back with all the changes.

Re: STARFIELD (Xbox/PC 2023)

This expansion sounds fantastic, and I really hope it leads to more of these types of narrative experiences within the game. What’s great is that, technically, modders can do these things, too. There’s a group porting the entirety of maps from the Elder Scrolls games into Starfield, and they could even port in entire quest lines if they were ambitious enough.

Starfield: Shattered Space Previews

• Horror-driven
• Combat-intensive
• You can leave the planet any time you wish, but the plot is entirely self-contained, and exploration of the planet and the city will lead to uncovering exactly what happened
• Shattered Space' planet has more of an alien world feel
• Abandoned sci-fi corridors, plagued by grim beasts
• FEAR-like atmosphere
• A handcrafted world, new weapons, new gear, new items

I’m about halfway through Shattered Space. If you liked the the main game, you”ll probably like the expansion since it’s more of the same. It doesn’t make you planet hop for missions like the main game did so that was improvement.

This was my first time playing since they updated the surface maps and those are a nice improvement.

PlayStation release is inevitable and could be very soon at this point.

some Creations (basically, Bethesda endorsed/ approved mods) are sporting a PS compatibility logo, which means that’s an option the creator can now tick off when they publish their mods.

Hopefully it'll end up on PSN+ before year-end.

I'm tempted to get it. Never did get the X-Box system and just been waiting for the port. The $69.99 edition has the DLC and a bunch of other things, so might go with that one.

FYI : If you can wait a bit, every former Xbox game that has eventually come to PS5 so far has had a decent sale pretty shortly after release.

Cool. I'm not in any hurry. I still haven't bought Resident Evil: Requiem and that was a high want.

Reading this thread and realized that I never played the game again after posting that

The shared container for the outposts should have been there at launch. Would have made building them so much easier.

Can't imagine anyone here will care, but this was apparently rated for Switch 2 in Taiwan.

It’s apparently so buggy and reportedly ‘unplayable’ on the PS5 that the PS Store is issuing refunds.
But sure, I bet it’ll run great on a Switch 2.
