That’s what the beta weekend was for. I don’t think there’s a demo for this.

Yes, you can play by yourself but you still need to connect to the servers. If you can’t connect, you don’t play.

No offline option.

I'm a barbarian broad on mine and went to that village that's way the hell west. I'm with some other tribeswoman of the Oxen or whatever. I stopped selling items and just scrap what I don't need for components. You tend to grind anyway and can build back your wealth really fast.

I enjoyed the storyline. The last Act is really tough.

Let me know if you need help. I’ll be able to help you out if you want depending what time you play the game.

Legion Events will start appearing on your map once you finish the Campaign. I did two of them. One I only got Rare items but the second one gave me two Legendaries. I will prioritize in unlocking T3 as these types of events are more common and the World Bosses also appear.

not even close to doing those but have seen the marker pop up a couple times but usually way off from starting map......

I'll look into re-doing my bab this weekend. The WW Barb is still considered the better One but a lot are looking at the other abilities after the nerfs...Barb has been hit the most with Nerf to a Shout, Damage Taken, Fury Costs increased and some Specialized Legendaries that help certain abilities.... I starte a druid last night, was going to be my Main and then barb. Druid Builds are all over the place however; Earth Ones, Werebear Ones, Storm Caller Ones, Werewolf Poison Ones all claiming to be The Best druid.....I liked him a lot in the Betas so will see...still say Rogue might be Best Overall...

In meantime Path of Exile, the infamous 'Diablo Clone" that resembles the game in every way....except probably far, far more build options including a "tree" that is complicated and challenging. It's on schedule for August and for those who want even more of a "Diablo Experince", keep this under your radar...more to come in July...

I was playing for about 90 minutes last night and almost at the end of one of the quests with multiple parts when I got the reconnecting to Diablo 4 message becasue it now decided it needed to download the patch. Luckily it just took me to the part of that section of the quest.

My Necromancer is my main and the switch from Summoner to Blood has been fantastic. I’m having tons of fun using decrytify, hemorrhage to build up essence then using Blood Burst, Blood Lance or Blood Mist for mobs.

I have also been very fortunate with the gear drops, enhancing my Blood abilities especially with Life and Overpower.

You should see my different stashes for my gear @ Buzz 😂

I only have one other character that I played, a Hardcore Rogue at level 7. I will create an alternate character and go with a Sorcerer.

I didn’t even bother with the game last night. I wanted it to play around 5:30pm local time and by the time they had it working, I didn’t want to bother with it.

I woke up really early and played an hour and that’s how I stumbled with the Legion Events.

I don't think finishing the campaign is a requirement for Legion events, I have done a few and am nowhere close to finishing the campaign.

Played just a bit before work today and was going to do the mission with the dude's eyes being worn by some woman as necklace, but when I got to the church to conquer it, I was quickly killed by the mob and the floor that is now engulfed in flames, which I cannot walk on. Then of course the server gives me the boot and when I resumed it sent me back to town. I assume since I am a barbarian I need a some sort of protection spell to walk on fire or some shit.

I was able to max out the "horn of death" or whatever it's called, it summons 3 warrior spirits to destroy everything around you for a few seconds. That helps out immensely, especially against bosses and mobs.

I did that quest with a barbarian as well and don't remember needing anything special.

Weird. Hopefully it's not a glitch, since I was killed the first time I went in. When I came back I killed the mob but the priestess or whatever she was, was gone and the floor of the church was flame and it would drain my energy down if I stood on it. Maybe she moved to another area of the map?

I’m with Oldboy. I’m very interested, but it seems like a departure from my usual Assassin’s Creed/Far Cry fare. I did watch some videos that said this was the most accessible Diablo yet for novices, so I’m leaning toward pulling the trigger.

I decided to pick it up and it's super fun so far. Running a barbarian (Hammer of the Ancients build) and having a blast. Think I made it to level 13 at lunch today.

Okay. I thought it was as I didn’t see them when I was doing the Campaign.

I am new to Diablo and I can tell you that despite the game being really obtuse, it is incredibly fun and addicting.

The only thing that requires campaign is the season pass.

My Main Class is a Level 40 Barb....Barbs in general are the tankest class....There's plenty of passives in the skill tree to help damage reduction. Shouts are your best friend along with finding gear pcs with elemental damage reduction. Early on run Rally and Challenging Shouts. Some run Iron Skin but when you can unlock "Booming Voice', you can increase duration of shouts. I run Rally and War Cry...War Cry can grant you...Berserking...and there's some really good passives for both damage Reduction and Dealing it. Unless you want to try a ...Thorn Type build, you can later ditch Challenging Shout which I did in favor of Leap. Leap is the best Mobile Skill for Barbs and deals damage while getting out of a jam.

Fire and Cold are probably the worse with Poison right there. If you can find and get pcs with high values, that helps.. Get armor with sockets, put Rubies in there for Max health, Skulls in Jewlry for Armor and Emeralds in Weapons for Crit....and it's....Call of the Ancients Skill...max out that....Supreme Call is huge. Keep your calls up all the time and the moment Call of the Ancients is available pop it in a large pack or Boss/Elites..

And one tip early on...Run Tier 1....it's really not worth the pain and struggle and the rewards....extra 20%XP is minor. barbs and druids it's pretty tough early on with Tier 2....

So my partner and I are taking this slow, only just barely into act 2. A little disappointed in the story so far, based on diablo3 I was expecting more of a story punch to mark the end of act 1. But it the quest hadn't changed to specifically say ACT 2, I wouldn't have guessed. I'm not super plussed on the drab color pallete either. Does it ever brighten up? It's just so damn dreary. Fun game though.
