The voice actor really sounds like Harrison Ford!

Digital Foundry has quite a few good comments about this. Video is 20 minutes, but they talk about the tech a bit as well as the uncanny valley issue when it comes to portraying one of the most famous actors of our time.
Seems like Machine Games was 100% the best studio to tackle this game, and the occasional use of 3rd person perspective (for platforming and such) is the right way to go. The first person mode for most of the game makes total sense now.

The voice actor is a dead ringer voice for a younger Ford.

That would be the talented Troy Baker.

And not even a year later, just a few months. For a HUGE exclusive title. Kind of shocking, really. Reflects a complete shift in MS's console strategy, IMO.

The good news about coming to PS5 later is that they can make sure that version corrects all the glitches/issues with the XBox release.

Is Machine Games known for releasing glitchy games that require tons of patches?

why are you always so combative with your remarks towards me? I mean is it purposeful on me or just your lingo. I don’t know what sets you off but they always always seem to come right after I post, either here or anywhere on this forum. I don’t know what I did, but I’m sorry. I’m simply giving my opinion.

I don't mean it to be combative to you at all. I don't even know how you came to that conclusion.
I just said I don't think it sucks at all that PlayStation 5 owners get to play what was going to be an Xbox exclusive just a few months after its release. That is objectively great for all console owners.
If you said 'that sucks' because you wanted it on the PS5 day & date with Xbox, that's pretty unrealistic considering it was made as an Xbox console exclusive for Winter 2024 and the PS version was just announced today.

I don't care when exactly it happens. I'm just glad it's coming to the PS5 at all. Still gonna wait for it to go on sale, however.

Well, MS hasn’t announced/confirmed the multi-console release plan at all, but we’ll find out for sure in the next day or two. All of this is currently coming from an ‘insider’ albeit one who has been accurate a few times now. I’d guess he’s right on this one.
Regardless, MS have put themselves in a position, for awhile now, where any ‘exclusivity’ is going to be questioned ad nauseum, for better or worse. That’s been the case since at least Titanfall and around the time the second new Tomb Raider game came out, if not longer.
Indiana Jones is a bit different since it’s made entirely by one of their own in-house studios, but considering the four titles that got released earlier this year, nothing is off the table anymore.
Looking forward to playing this on my PC (with game pass) anyway. I was skeptical about it being a first-person game at first, but that’s what Machine Games does best, so it’s in good hands. Their Wolfenstein games are top-notch to me.
Also, it sounds like the pot is making Oldboy paranoid
