I completely forgot that Lamar was on the cover of Madden. While he hasn't collapsed this year under the curse, he certainly has underperformed on my fantasy team thanks to it.

Yes, I did. It was expected to launch when the new systems are released, but it's being pushed back to the first week in December. It's not the end of the world, I just was expecting to play on day one.

I guess that way they miss the Black Friday blow outs, at least. I wonder if they'll still get sales before Xmas.

Are you asking from a file standpoint or from a purchase standpoint?

From a file standpoint I'm pretty sure it's not just an update to the existing game. It's a next gen game. From a purchase standpoint there is no "next gen" version like 2k, you buy the one and get both. I bet EA's kicking themselves for not waiting until 2k did it because I bet they wish they had kept them separate, fleeced people for an extra 10 bucks and kept the next gen version out of black friday sales.

I meant from a game/file standpoint. 2K1 is much more than just the former gen game running with higher res. Was wondering if EA did the same for next gen or just bumped up the res/fps, using all the same assets. If it's a single purchase and "upgrade", I'm guessing it's the same game, just looking better.
