Does anyone else have the Xbox Wireless Headset? Because I do and for the life of me I can’t figure out why it keeps cutting out and dropping sound. I have updated, rebooted, reconnected. Nothing is helping. So annoying.
Also I wish it would automatically mute the audio output to the speakers when connected like the PlayStation one does. How hard is that? And why would anyone want to have sound coming from their speakers and their headset at the same time?

I'm in the Insider program and I know I have that option in the settings.

I have it but am not having audio cut-out issues. I do agree with you about the audio not stopping from your system once the headset is on... that said, I do like these and they're pretty comfortable overall. The spatial sound is pretty impressive.

Thanks to a end-of-the-year bonus, decided to try to pick one of these up finally. Took following Wario64 on Twitter and subscribing to Walmart+ for a month, but I did it!

The performance difference in Halo Infinite alone is pretty significant. Very happy so far. If I had one nitpick it's that 1TB is already not enough storage when games can be 90-130gb now.

I have been following a youtube channel and figure I will luck up on one eventually. Not gonna subscribe to any programs or jump though any more hoops though, if only for a month. Just such annoyance all the way around. Hopefully stock will rise a little more and with xmas almost over, maybe it will be easier to snag one.

When did this come out again? Is this the worst disaster getting one ever?

It's in the title of the thread...

Yes I have the headset and I’m also having audio issues. It gets very choppy and cuts out during Halo cutscenes. Don’t remember if it happened in any other games. If it did, I didn’t notice.

Very irritating.

I had that problem a lot with my SteelSeries headset with Dolby Atmos, switched off Atmos and most of it is gone.

I might download Space Invaders. I often enjoy modern remixes of classics like that.

That's perfect! Thank you!

Wait!

If you want to sub long term, and your current sub has expired, it's much better to do the "trick" of buying Xbox Live Gold (up to three years) and converting it.

Saw on Craigslist Series X are going for $650. Thats actually a reasonable price compared to what scalping prices were going for last year.

You know what's a reasonable price? MSRP.

I got a Series X for, er, Xmas. Setup was pretty easy. I started playing Halo Infinite but was hoping for split-screen with my kid, but no dice. I’ll have to try something else.

I wasn't aware that this still worked.

Walmart+ members will have PS5/XSX consoles exclusive access to purchase on January 13 at 12pm PT / 3pm ET

https://www.walmart.com/shop/earlyaccess

If you know anyone with Walmart+ that is, not sure if the free trial applies.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

That's what I used to get mine. Signed up for one month then cancelled. Worth the $12 to get the Xbox IMO.
