I owned both. I only play Xbox One to play some Xbox 360 games since the console is not working real well (trouble open the disc drive) and some exclusive like Gears of War. I choose PS4 because of it many exclusive God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Bloodbourne. I recommend the PS4.

Forgot to mention that I prefer the X1 controller but the PS4 is fine.

Haha, I just do it out of habit, esp as someone who once owned the first Playstation (and the second one). Skipped the PS3 and went with the 360.

As previously mentioned, make sure to put GoW, Uncharted 4 and Horizon on the eventual checklist. I'll add in the remastered Wipeout collection.

In addition to Uncharted 4, I'd play the 1-3 collection first so you can get the background story. It's pretty reasonably priced too.

Why? So far PlayStation has been killing it with their exclusives. The only exclusive that made me want to get an Xbox was Rise of the Tomb Raider and then I found it was just a timed exclusive.

Looking on the horizon, PlayStation is getting quite a few good looking exclusives. days gone, ghost of Tushima(sp?), Spider-Man, death stranding, last of us 2, Detroit: become human and Yakuza 6.

In addition to uncharted 1-3 and 4, add Lost Legacy to your queue.

Thanks for suggestions. Once I get a handle on what I do have, will give those a shot. So far, only have extensively played Madden 18 but sampled Batman: Telltale Series and Injustice.

Just keep tabs on the deals that always come around in the Online Store...some of which might not be promoted much but are real gems when you look.....

....like right now they have the Gold Versions (normally $100.00) of The Division and Ghost Recon Wildlands for around $30.00 each. There's always some Digital Only ones also that are worth a look....if you like arcade style, it's well worth it to grab Resogun....it's quite amazing to see in action...was a highlight when the PS4 was launched. good Luck and Welcome Aboard....

You might also want to sign up for PS+ soon. Several of the games you bought have already been free over the years.

Technically I didn't buy it. I had (and still have) store credit and just got what I was interested in. Also, the prices on what I got was only like $10-15 (I think there was one for $7) on all but Madden 18.

Oh, and the PS4 Pro I got seemed almost like it never got used. They still had the original box and inside the start-up (or w/e) manual inside. Controller was also in mint condition. I'm guessing they didn't like the Glacier White color?

Dang you must have had a ton of trade ins to get the PS4 and all those games and still have credit left.

Yep had many movies (as they also sell those) that I could get rid of when I did some spring cleaning.

Anything I get would be used as much as a blu ray player and apps player (Netflix, etc). Is one superior over the other regarding that?

Not really, but if you want to play UHD's, X1 S does and and PS4 Pro doesn't.
