I got everything on Wooded Kingdom other than the music note one on the wall. I spent about 30 minutes attempting it and didn't even get close to getting all the notes. I'll save this one for the end.

I thought I would have more trouble with these races but even on the master cup there is usually a "cheat" where you skip most of the race. The Wooded Kingdom one you need to be good at that dive towards your hat jump and you get first place pretty easily.

Finished the game last night... now I’ll focus on completing it. ;)

I’m just gonna give a shout out to the Peach Wedding amiibo - I couldn’t have done it without her! :)

Well, it's all about getting moons, but the variety of ways to get them is there. Also, after end game, the worlds are slightly different, and new stuff opens up. End game is where it's at here. It's still a great game if all you care about is beating Bowser, but I find getting the moons to be (mostly) very fun.

I just completed it. I thought the Long Journey’s End level was the absolute last thing but it unlocks a more-challenging Bowser boss battle in the chapel on the moon. It’s easy enough if you go in with 6 hearts, I did it on my first try. I ended up with 880 stars but then I found out that you get a top hat on Peach’s castle that can be used to trigger a fireworks display if you get 999 moons so I just grinded out the ~2000 coins I needed to hit that number on top of the 9949 I had after buying the extra hearts for Bowser.

Overall this is an A+++ game.

Just hit over 840 and now completed everything on the levels but Dark Side and Darker side.

I was intimidated by the Dark Side boss rush and put it off until I finished everything else but it’s surprisingly easy. I beat the 4 Brootal bosses without even taking a hit on my nephew’s game and after watching me he tried it and was able to beat them on his own.

There’s a 6-heart powerup right before them on one of the vegetable stalks right before you enter. You have to throw your hat on it until it pops out. There’s also a hidden moon after the 4 Brootal fights but before the mecha suit boss battle, even after you get it the first time you can still use it to refill your health. The mech is extremely easy.

The moons in the Wooded Kingdom where you have to herd the sheep in the sky ugh. The sheep are all suicidal apparently and don’t ever stay on track and constantly fall off or run off the edges and you have to very carefully get them to the area where the robots want them to be. I got close once but then I wound up falling by accident. :gah:

Looks interesting
Still holding out hope that we get a better Cloud Kingdom , a Rainbow Ride and Tick Tock Clock type of kingdoms as well

I wouldn't expect new worlds outside of paid DLC. Plus, it seems like Nintendo would be more likely to put out a sequel than that.

So sick of the damn Koopa races. Luckily I'm on the last one I believe. Its the Lost Kingdom Master Cup. I'm not the best at performing crazy acrobatics and can only successfully pull off the Cappy jump/dive once in a great while. I'm so close to being done with the game though. I'm at like 879 Moons I believe.

I’m so close to finishing this game all the way. I have two more official moons to get. I got all the purple coins and have all the outfits and souvenirs and whatnot. I have to finish Darker Side of the Moon and have one other Dark Side of the Moon goal and I’m done (I probably will buy up to 999 moons to cap off the limit).

Honestly I think the volleyball is worse than the jump rope. I was eventually able to get into the rhythm of the jump rope and finally got it (I think I got to 104) but the volleyball is damn near impossible. I was able to get to like 35 or so before it got too fast. What I finally wound up doing after reading a tip online was enabled two player mode and used Cappy since he moves a lot faster. It’s the one moon I’ve “cheated” to get although I still think it’s fair because I still did it just using an easier method. I don’t know that I’d have been able to do it with Mario and just wanted to get it done.

I just started playing this and I'm loving it so far. I hadn't played my Switch much at all after getting a PS5, but I decided to dust it off and play. It's so far one of my all time favorite Mario games.

I beat the main portion of the game. This is the best 3-D Mario game that I have ever played. I'm taking a break to play Luigi's Mansion 3 since it's Halloween season and I've never played it before.
