Odyssey is sooner than expected which is great news. The Yoshi platformer looks great also.

Re: E3 2017
I don't know, I thought Nintendo was a lot better then what EA and Bethesda showed. Something nice on being straight and to the point, while still announcing new Kirby, Yoshi, Metroid Prime 4, and showing off Zelda DLC and Mario Odyssey.

On the Treehouse stream, they just announced and showed of Metroid: Samus Returns for the 3DS.
Looks like a return to form.
Apparently a "re-imagining of the GBC's Metroid 2".

They should do it like movies, include a Switch version as a digital download with all 3DS versions sold.

Xbox one and ps4 has already sold millions and people play them all the time
What are people playing on Switch? One or two good games a year? Cool
Terrible thing is Nintendo will keep doing this because people keep buying their system for one game

The Switch came out three months ago. My PS4 was collecting a lot of dust it's first three months also.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still cautiously optimistic, but maybe Nintendo finally learned that they need to actually support their own system.

Maybe it's because I also own a PS4 and Xbox One, but there's plenty of games to play between all 3 for me. There's certainly more then 1 or 2 good games this year being released on Switch

Re: E3 2017
That's exactly it. I finally have a Nintendo system that compliments my Xbox lifestyle and is giving me first-party franchise games I want to play quickly. Maybe that'll die out in a year or two, but it seems to be gaining momentum not only in units sold but in third party support.
It'll never be the 4K serious workhorse the others are, but it doesn't have to be.

Re: E3 2017
I forget what exclusives they had at launch (I think they were neck&neck), but now, I think PS4 kills the XB1 in exclusives. But Nintendo franchises kill both their franchises - but event that's not strong enough to overcome Nintendo's lack of 3rd party support.

Zero interest in Need for Speed and Battlefield. I bought Black Flag even though I was burnt out on Assassin's Creed and gave it about five hours and it didn't change my mind about never needing to play another one of those again. I did really enjoy Resogun but after three hours or so I had my fill.

The PS4 game I spent the most hours with in the first few months was playing through Knack.

Re: E3 2017
Just curious, If you were to take out multi-platform titles at launch of the PS4 and XB1, would that still be the case? Which console would be most appealing as far as first party titles? I only pose this as Nintendo has seemingly gotten this far on the popularity of their first party titles.
