They'd ship you one for free for the first six months the XB1 S was out. I'm thinking they might revive the offer for Scorpio when that's released, to entice original XB1 owners to upgrade.

...currently. They've been adding an average of 6 games a week the past month.

Also, you're misunderstanding what people mean by "PS3 backwards compatibility." They're not talking about playing PS3 games on a PS4, which was never possible. They're talking about playing PS2 games on a PS3, which was possible on the first generation PS3 consoles. A revision removed this capability from later consoles, so it was a feature for the PS3 that was removed in a hardware revision.

Final point, Wikipedia lists 1,205 "360" games, and 719 XBLA games, and 386 backwards compatible games. There's some overlap between the XBLA and 360 lists, and some of the 360 games are titles that had a separate XB1 release, making BC unlikely. Still, it's a lot of games, and BC has only scratched the surface so far, but at a rate of 188 titles added in 2016, it may take a few years, but it's possible they could hit something like 90% of all titles.
