Haha, leave the old, crusty one behind!! Although I did fuck up by forgetting to add PC to the title.

Gamestop also has a $100 physical version that comes with the expansion pass. It looks like all of their versions come with a six inch figure too.

I'm ready to hop back in :dance:. After skipping Rise of Iron, I didn't even bother re-installing Destiny after getting my Pro, so it's been over a year since I played.

Ok, I have 5 months to save for a PS Pro and a 4K HDR 65" TV. Everyone in my house will now live on cheerios for 5 months. :lol:

Did you remove the PC image that was there earlier? It's "official" in that it's up on Destiny's order page of you were worried about it just being a rumor.

Also, it's $250. I'm not sure what included justifies the $100 increase. I actually like my ghost from the last one. Even if it's outdated with the Dinklebot voice.

Okay, it was a big ask -- getting me to go into a Gamestop and paying full retail price for a new game. Still for this (as I had no other choice), I did it and preordered the Limited Edition of Destiny 2. Thanks for the Heads-Up

You'd be better getting it on PS4. There's a group of us on here that still play D1. Once D2 hits some that have stopped will return so you'll be looking at an even larger DVDTalk player base.

PS4 it is. I played the hell out of Destiny 1 for the first 6 months or so, but fell off after the first or second expansion and never really picked it back up.

Destiny 2 is the closest thing to a definite buy that a game can be at this point, so I might as well preorder somewhere.

You get the figure when you pre-order. My little guy is now sitting in between Aloy and Kratos on my shelf.

And of course, this is the game that they bring the RZ back for -- the only one I don't buy at Best Buy. :grumble:

Pre-ordered the LE from Gamestop and got the figure. It's also nice that they put the beta code on the receipt.

I also picked up Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 while I was there. I totally forgot they were carrying the exclusive physical version.

I'm sure I'll get it but the timing with Red Dead Redemption 2 scheduled a month later is going jam my gaming schedule....

Still want to hear about a lot of the details involving the classes, abilities and weapons. Still think Bungie ought and should look at adding more characters in the mix. I would even like to see the ability to use "AI Guardians" in solo play. If anything act as distractions and bullet/melee sponges. And of course the collecting resources you do need, then don't need and either cannot get rid of or use it for more stuff that you have plenty of.

But getting kicked and driven out of their city and world starting out new seems to be a good idea...almost a page out of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. And maybe have more storyline and campaigns tied directly to the characters or leaders themselves...like Clyde-6 and his history....like playing him when he started out.

I'm going for the XBox One version, as that's the console I have.

I played Destiny nearly non-stop for a full year, and bought two extra XBox 360s so family could all play together in the same room. I've since sold all them and just have the one XBox One, but man, I love this game.

I'll buy "2" without hesitation.

Also, anyone up in the air between the One and PS version should strongly consider PS4. We have a well established group here that make the game so much more enjoyable.
