Mine is still downloading, which should take WAY longer than beating it.

I finished yet. Its more destiny, nothing new. The only interesting area you get to visit in passing, and there is no way to go back it yet. But hey if you wanted to run through in a story mission, you can do that.

I found the Infinite Forrest incredibly boring and tedious

Bungie and Activision have clearly made a decision to destroy this gaming franchise.

I received one token and no glimmer from a Heroic event yesterday in the EDZ. One.

That is after I could barely find anyone even in the EDZ to do the weekly Flashpoint, since most logged in were on Mercury. Great plan Bungie!

I tried infusing some blues into purples and that no longer seems to work.

Then, I am looking for events and nothing is showing on the map, nothing. I fast travel over to Winding Canyons and what is this? An event, running, almost half over. I recheck the map, nope, nothing.

I really do not understand why they simply do not just shut this game down.

I've enjoyed this game much more if I just think of it as a way to shoot aliens for a few hours, nothing more.

Sadly and foolishly I wasted $100 on the "deluxe" pre-order for the game and two DLC's. I fell like I am getting $10 worth of entertainment.

I don't care about the money, I feel betrayed more than anything. I actually had more fun back in D1 over the weekend than D2.

Well...if they put in a Gears of War style "Horde Mode", that might be the best part of the game. When I played it we didn't give a hoot about loot, engrams, pink outfits or some special moves....just sawing, head stomping, head shooting, bodies blowing up, body parts flying endless insane fun....

$10? Give me a fucking break. $10 gets you a ticket to a movie. Does the game have some shortcomings? Yes. But saying shit like this just shows how absurd people are.

Sorry you think I am absurd, lets analyze this.

I have done one Nightfall, no fun and really no fun with the timers. No rewards worth getting.

I have done two strikes, again not fun, mostly just running and getting tokens as a reward.

I do not have the time to do the raid on any level, takes too long for my limited playtime.

Crucible is awful so I avoid that, Iron Banner was tolerable when there were specific rewards, not tokens. So I do not do that.

Faction rallies are a joke, once a month is pointless and tokens are not a reward.

Guided games are acknowledged to be a total mess by the community.

There are no items worth trying to obtain, I have found all the lost sectors, done the boring Ikora repeat missions, gathered thousands of tokens and shards and have maxed glimmer.

So what is left?

I do the weekly milestones, patrols and I have finished the story on three characters. I can complete the milestones and clan experience on all three characters in about 5 hours playtime.

So for me a self-described casual player I have not come close to the $100 cost of this content. And since I am the target customer according to Bungie I feel that they overcharged for what they created even before the XP scam they revealed after getting caught.

Sure you can argue that what I choose to play is my own fault. and I would agree. However, I spent less than half for D1 and there is far more to do that is far more fun in that game. The replay value is in D1, there is none in D2. Why Bungie chose to throw away three years of progress for a weak campaign with a weak opponent and no end game at all is puzzling.

The CoO DLC that dropped yesterday is being universally panned, numerous bugs have cropped up and people are completing the story on a small map in a few hours. Reskinned items, reduced loot, no vault space . . .

Absurd? Yes Bungie and Activision should be ashamed.

It's funny, but I forgot about the power level increase, and I was deleting the first few purple drops at 300+

Actually I checked that as it was my first thought and there was no purple mod. Does not matter since all the items are identical and useless. Just wanted to try infusing something that was sitting in my vault with a newer higher level item.

Oh well, wont be the last of the many bugs being reported on the forums and on Twitter.

Apparently Prometheus Lens is insanely, vastly stupidly overpowered in PvP and has already been slated for a nerf.

I can probably say with a straight face, overall everyone Likes To Play The Game...that is at it's core including myself. It's what it is and has become that I can say with a straight face that a majority out there hate, disappointed, unimpressed, frustrated with....
