Pre-ordered the LE from Gamestop and got the figure. It's also nice that they put the beta code on the receipt.

I also picked up Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 while I was there. I totally forgot they were carrying the exclusive physical version.

I'm sure I'll get it but the timing with Red Dead Redemption 2 scheduled a month later is going jam my gaming schedule....

Still want to hear about a lot of the details involving the classes, abilities and weapons. Still think Bungie ought and should look at adding more characters in the mix. I would even like to see the ability to use "AI Guardians" in solo play. If anything act as distractions and bullet/melee sponges. And of course the collecting resources you do need, then don't need and either cannot get rid of or use it for more stuff that you have plenty of.

But getting kicked and driven out of their city and world starting out new seems to be a good idea...almost a page out of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. And maybe have more storyline and campaigns tied directly to the characters or leaders themselves...like Clyde-6 and his history....like playing him when he started out.

I love how everyone leaves off the Xbox one - even on sites like Amazon, you have to specifically search for the xbox one version WTF?

I'm going for the XBox One version, as that's the console I have.

I played Destiny nearly non-stop for a full year, and bought two extra XBox 360s so family could all play together in the same room. I've since sold all them and just have the one XBox One, but man, I love this game.

I'll buy "2" without hesitation.

Just a reminder that the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal will be streaming on Twitch today at 1pm ET.

Also, anyone up in the air between the One and PS version should strongly consider PS4. We have a well established group here that make the game so much more enjoyable.

It was nice to finally see what was behind those doors by the speaker. It matches the concect art in the "Art of Destiny" book just about perfectly

OK, having watched the whole reveal, I found it to be hit or miss.

Most of the changes are great and some are long overdue. Clan integration or being able to go from one location to another without going to orbit are good. More to do on patrol is maybe the most exciting thing I heard.

On the other end, I think they went in the wrong direction with Crucible completely. Making every game mode 4 Vs. 4 just sounds horrible. They should have went in the other direction and expanded to 8 Vs 8. So now it will be even less accessible to solo players.

It was very cool to finally see what's behind that big door in North Tower after all this time. Too bad itr's only as the Tower is crumbling. I figured the first mission would be the "escape from the tower" type thing.

Overall, I wasn't wowed by anything.

It looks like one of the crucible maps is set in the new tower area.

I'm disappointed as well with the 4v4. Seems strange to reduce the size of matches. If anything, you'd think they'd want to increase it to show off the power of the new hardware.

The new sub-classes seem cool, especially for the warlock. The one for the hunter basically looks like it plays exactly like the Bladedancer. Wonder if they will replace the existing subclasses, or act as a 4th.

I watched a couple clips of the interviews and they kept mentioning "a fresh start" for players, new and old. Wasn't the whole point of the Destiny that it was supposed to be a continued and expanding universe over 10 years?

So do I delete the first Destiny when this comes out?

Battle.net launcher... interesting. I can't wait for the PC version.

I really wish Bungie would put new characters in the mix. This is a perfect opportunity to do so with this so-called Fresh Start storyline. There are plenty of games out there that have a constant flow of expanding the character universe yet Bungie is stuck on three...

I never played Crucible a lot but when IB came around I played all three characters and felt like I did decent. But I wonder what IB will be like in Destiny 2 or will it still be there?

Beta starts on 7/18 for PS4 and 7/19 for XB1 and goes to 7/23. PC beta coming in August.

PC version is coming out 10/24, almost 2 months after the console versions.
