The Onion's Pokemon Go article was funnier.

Especially stupid because I've seen way more couples and women out playing this then guys by themselves.

Okay, this is crazy, but we're going to hold a Public Pokéstop Party on Thursday at work. We're throwing our doors open, having free pizza, and setting up lures on our three Pokéstops. We have an electronic sign outside on a pretty busy intersection so we're going to advertise it there and on Facebook. Excited to see what happens.

Hope whoever organized this has a permit. There was one here in the Orlando over the weekend with a couple thousand people, and the cops shut it down.

iPhone update just went live to fix sign in issue with Trainer account

Yesterday's update was some improvement. I don't have to login every time it crashes, but I still get a few lockups, especially when I do the battery saver mode, when I turn my phone back upright, the screen shows but I can't move anything. But restarting also feels a little quicker.

We live right by a pretty big park, and somebody set a lure last night so we all went over again and there were tons of people of all ages playing.

Of course, I can't play at work, but I stopped for gas this morning on the way in and started it up to see if there was anything and out of nowhere was a 233 Exeggcute, very pleased to see that.

Despite the updates, I am still locking up half of the time when I catch anything new.

The closest Pokemon gym in my area is at a dive bar located on a rural highway. Great place for kids to visit!

A lot of the Pokestops here are Breweries and Brew-Pubs, they're doing daily specials as part of it. I guess they can pay to distribute things, which is cool. I cleaned out the local movie theater.

If I owned a business with a Pokestop -- especially a bar or someplace like that --I'd keep a lure on my Pokestop constantly while I was open for as long as this game is hot. Lures are somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.50/hr if you buy in bulk -- if you bring in even one customer you wouldn't have, you've paid for the lure and then some.

You're making a tragic mishap in assuming they'd be paying customers! I play the game myself, so I'm not looking down on fans, but most tend to just mindlessly wander around.
