So this might seem like a dumb question. Let's say I have an unactivated character @ 50/50 shards (which unlocks as a 4* character). IF I decide to wait to activate that character @ 85/50 or 100/50 shards will that character activate as a 6* or 7* character?

You still have to separately activate each tier. You'd then have X amount of shards left to use towards the next tier.

Past couple of weeks I switched gears and got IG-86 farmed ahead of Phasma to strengthen DPS on my A Team. I also concentrated on leveling up most of my characters to Lvl 67. I will continue this until 3-4 more B/C Team are also at Lvl 67. I also will then unlock my 6/7 stars for the next couple of weeks. I am definitely under a credit drought.

The shards are constant.

10 = 1*
25 = 2*
50 = 3*
80 = 4*
145 = 5*
230 = 6*
330 = 7*

Promoting is just the difference to the next tier:

1* -> 15 -> 2* -> 25 -> 3* -> 30 -> 4* -> 65 -> 5* -> 85 -> 6* -> 100 -> 7*

Right now, no one unlocks at 6* or 7*.

Yeah, I built up all of the shards I needed to get Palpatine to 7* before I even unlocked him and I had to promote and pay credits each time.

Yeah, you're going going to be able to save 1.75M by taking someone from 4* to 7* with one "Activate" action.

I am reasonably certain that is incorrect. Clicking promote would go to 5* for 250k, then you have to click again for 6* for 500k, then click again for 7* for $1M.

Pretty sure that first going was supposed to say not instead.

D is correct. You're "not going to be able" makes a helluva lot more sense than "going going to be able".

When I was saving shards hoping for new achievements, I experimented.

Got my 5th Jedi (Mace) to 5 stars. Unlocked Yoda

Nicely done! I have 13 shards left on Barriss and then I'll have my 5th Jedi, too! Hoping everything falls right before the reset so I can get Mr. Master Yoda!

Unlocked Rey DPS!!!

My biggest issue going right now is that after 86, my next highest character is 5*. Also I have every one of my 7s soft capped at 70 so my GW is easier. I don't have the credits to boost those guys over 70 since some of my guys are lower 60. I will eventually get there and help out more in raids. I do kind of regret going for JE instead of rey. I just got him to 5 so I will go to 7.

As much as I want to level her up, I need to spend guild coins getting QGJ to gear IX. Those binoculars are a pain in the ass to come by.

I need some advice for which toons to focus on next (looking for raiders):

1. Arena: I have IG88, Eeth, and Sid
2. GW: I have Lumi, Teebo, Datcha (39/65), Poggle (this week), IG86, and Phasma
3. Cantina: I have Ahsoka (24/30), Fives (0/65), Daka (this week), QGJ, and Poe (11/65)

Other 7* I have: Barriss, GS, JC, Yoda, Chirpa (almost)

Also, for Tier 7, it was said we should have Gear 8, but I don't remember seeing a level requirement. Since credits are tight, and I will still have to promote 3 more, I want to plan my credit spending carefully. Is there a target toon level?

Arena: I would focus on Ackbar or ST Han. Ackbar's dispel is very useful for P1 of the raid, and Han's taunt TM is very helpful in P2 and P3.
GW: I would focus on RP or Cad Bane. RP is a pretty decent DPS character once you get her levelled up.
Cantina: Continue working on Fives.

For Tier 7, the more 7* you have the better. It would be best to focus on getting them to 7* first, and then focus on the gear, and then finally the character level. The thing is, to get most characters to gear 8, they need to be pretty close to level 70 anyway.

Thanks, Chase. Since I do a paltry amount of damage in T6 P1, I'll go for Ackbar. Must be fate, because I got my first Ackbar shard in GW tonight. For GW, I'll start on RP. Fives in Cantina shouldn't be too bad, since he has a couple of nodes too.

I'll spend my credits on promoting to 7* and leveling to G8. Glad to hear they will still be useful at minimum levels.

Another question: I've only used one omega upgrade (QGJ basic), do you have a recommendation for a second omega? I should have enough for a third by the time T7 raid starts too.

Got a crafted droid caller from the Raid which got QGJ to Gear 9.

Once the Omega event returns this weekend I'll be using my first Omega on his primary for the turn meter reduction chance.

Do you have Rey? Most people Omega all of her attacks. I see you will have Daka this week. The Omega for her primary attack is supposed to be pretty good as well. That's who I will be using my second one on.

What level is your Phasma? Victory March Omega is supposed to be nice if you use her a lot (-1 cool down).

I used my first Omega on QGJ's basic, and my second on Daka's basic. Those are probably the most useful ones to do first.
