Ran into this dude just now in LS 7-G. Chewbacca died in encounter 2 because Chewbacca is a pussy.

So, Arena. Clearly I'm doing it wrong by not finishing as close to 6pm as possible. I get comfortably into the top 100 then find myself back just outside every day. When do you play your 5 daily matches? Do you refresh?

I'm usually playing mine throughout the day. If I am close to a prize border (rank 50 or rank 20), I will save one match to "snipe" at 5 minutes to 6pm. If you are in a match during the last 5 minutes, then no one can challenge your team.

On the flip side, if your team is being challenged, you can't start a match.

I'm not the type to say 'I told you so', but... ;)

I have yet to finish a GW because of that guy. I almost always get matched up against a team 10 levels higher than me with him on it, and it's literally just impossible to beat. He'll do that back-to-back strike that he has and kill my characters instantly. I think his primary attack has a 50% chance to attack again, but I swear when the AI is controlling him, he ALWAYS gets it. Plus, he stuns and ability blocks. Plus, he counters. I never get to take a damn turn. :lol:

Got my 50th Dooku shard today, and will get sidious tonight with the arena drop. My Darkside squad is much stronger than my Lightside. I think I will stop going for Boba Fett and start going for Qui-Gon since he is 25 shards.

Well, if it matters, Boba opens as a 4* when you unlock and QGJ only at 2*.

Which means you can actually use, level, and gear QGJ while you get the next 55 shards to get him to 4*.

That, and unless you are building a crit based team, Fett is very weak otherwise. He's just a cool character but really not that great of a toon.

Agreed. Daka is a far more essential DS character for those battles because conventional wisdom says you're going to get Sidious and Dooku and Phasma anyway. Fett would just be part of a rotating cast on your way to Kylo and Vader.

Today was the hardest GW I have had in weeks. I painted myself into a corner earlier by having Phasma in the yellow and no ready-to-use heals. That was for battle 6 against Kylo, IG-86, GS, Lumi, and Phasma. It was a bloodbath to get to the end. Normally I get to the end with my starting 5 but this time I had to sacrifice two teams and two tanks en route. Chalk another one up, though!

I went with Qui-Gon. With him I've been able to beat the 2nd tier of the AGI challenge. I still needed more currency before I had enough for Poe and the extra gear is helpful.

Who do you actively farm in Cantina Battles? I recently got Kylo (4*) and GS (1*). I am going to keep farming for QGJ, but I'm not really sure whose nodes make the most sense. Who would you do?

GS - All the way to 7*. He's a Glass Cannon, but with IG-86 shards this month, maybe it's time to work on that droid/geonosis team!

Luke - You already have him at 3* and pretty leveled and geared up and he's the weak link on your LS team. Might as well make him more viable.

Chewbacca - Same as Luke, but made obsolete by Poe.

Talia - Already 4* and purple gear, but not really useful any more, even on the DS team with Sid, Phasma, Vader, Daka, and Kylo.

JC - 6*, level 8 gear, staple of your teams already, take him to 7*!

IG-100 - If you're going for droid/geonosis team, this is your next guy.

Kylo - Keep on him, your DS team needs emo beef.

IG-86 - Double down with the free shards this month and max him quick!

Nightsister Acolyte, Jawa, Dathcha, Finn, Biggs, Mace, Plo Koon - Just work on unlocking these people because it will help you get Vader to 5* faster.

Really liking my Arena lineup of: DS, Luminara, Poe, JC, and GS. Even set to auto I'm beating teams that are 1000+ power level higher than me.

As soon as the Arena awards hit in 9 hours, Sidious will be 7*. Not being in love with any of the current choices, I think I'm going to stockpile tokens and hope the update brings someone new and exciting or the Shard Shop entices me to exchange excess Sidious fragments.

Won my first GW in a long time. I was down to my J team it seemed like. Tired of facing teams with 10k more power than me and all 6-7* and purple gear'd out.

Unlocked QGJ today, which is nice, but he's really unpowered at 2*. Need to get him geared up. Will take a few days.

If i had known this, I would never have climbed into the Top 25, I would have hovered at 200 or so b/c in the long term, GW gems are far more valuable.
