I had a glitch/bug on mutant boss fight. Turns out you can't end the battle on an ultimate skill, or it won't allow you to progress. Found info on UBISoft message board. I beat it. While it think it was a good game, with more polish, it doesn't live up to what Stick of Truth was.

That's the fight, though it's consistently locked up on me well before getting to the point where the next move would end it. I guess I could try avoiding using any ultimate skills at all, but that seems like it would take forever and include a lot of extra spamming of healing. Is that point pretty close to the end? If so, I'll likely just youtube whatever cut scenes are left to see how the story wraps up.

Finished up a second playthrough. Tried to trade it into Best buy and they won't take it due to it not being in their system.

Anyways. Good game, decent battles and expected humor.

They should make it an adventure game / murder mystery similar to L.A. Noire . It would be like that episode “Lil Crime Stoppers”

I'd make it where Butters is sent back to Mexico and you have to go on a road trip to rescue him. They could make it a quasi-dream like game where parts take place in South Park and the rest in newly created areas on the journey.

I've encountered this bug twice in a row:

Spoiler:
When you fight Alternate Mutant Kyle, he sometimes "occupies" the same grid as one of your characters. Your character can't move to another grid or skip their turn and you're forced to re-load to the last checkpoint and start the battle over again.

Others have had the same problem, too, and there seems to be no fix until Ubisoft patches it.

If you go to the Ubisoft forums, there are threads about this. I think there are some ways to work around the bug. I was having a different bug in the same fight. You can't end the fight with a special attack.

Re: South Park: The Fractured but Whole (X1, PS4) - Oct. '17

Regarding Mutant Kyle, I followed someone's advice and stayed away from the grids on all the furthest sides. I had all my characters stay within the 3 middle rows.

I finished the game the other morning. The ending was rushed. The second-to-last boss fight was a lot tougher than the last. Had a decent time with the game, but I got tired of a bunch of enemies showing up at the last second right after you killed the first and/or second batch.

Think of Stick of Truth was funnier.

The first piece of story DLC came out recently "From Dusk Till Casa Bonita". It adds a new class, party member and area for you to play through. It took me about 2-3 hours to finish and while it was decent it was nothing I would recommend spending $12 on unless you already bought the season pass.

Finished the other day and I'll tackle the DLC soon... that said, there is nothing you can do with Canada just yet, right?
