Fumbling thru Best Buys E3 game lineup for pre-order I came across another South Park game and couldn't be happier. I absolutely loved The Stick of Truth.

The Fractured But Whole. Took me a second but :lol:

I was on the fence on buying a PS4 before hearing about this. This officially puts me over the fence. Stick of Truth was the most fun I've had playing a video game in years (granted, I'm not much of a gamer).

I'm happy they're going with the superheroes this time around. The big bad for the game should be Chutulu. Looks like we'll be getting Towelie too which is great. They fit a lot in the first game but this time around I'd like to see:

Scott Tenerman
Mr./Mrs. Garrison
Jesus, in a larger capacity
Satan and Sadaam
More of the Woodland Critters.. criminally underused in the last game.

Hopefully this won't be delayed 100 times but from what I read yesterday, the last game seemed like a learning experience for Matt and Trey and it should be smoother this time around.

I already pre-ordered using GCU. I suspect it'll be 2016 but holiday 2015 would be fantastic.

Yeah, Stick of Truth was pretty much the best game of last year. I can't wait for this. Best reveal at E3 by a country mile.

i rented the first one and regretted not purchasing it to give money to the devs. i will definitely purchase this one.

The first one was great, but hardly game of the year and not even close to the best reveal of the show.

Regardless, day one for me as well.

I just bought the first one on Steam for $13. Only played about half an hour, but enjoying it so far.

I never played Stick. But I do enjoy SP a lot. Kind of regret it now.

Stick of Truth was a lot of fun but in the end, it was pretty short and I had no desire to play it again after finishing it. It might be something I revisit a few years from now just to go through the story again. It's not something that I'd pay $60 for.

so it seems that if you pre-order the digital copy from XBOX store, it does not come with SoT. i was on the website and it made no mention. i see the other retailers offer, but not MS. am i correct in that?

From what I've gathered, if you pre-order a hard copy from a retailer the Stick of Truth remaster will come on a separate disc that you'll receive when you get the new game.

Meanwhile, if you pre-order the digital version a download for Stick of Truth is available immediately.

So I would imagine they'd make the remaster available as it's own download and if not, I'm sure you'll be able to obtain a hard copy when the new game comes out.

I'm pretty surprised they aren't just selling the next gen versions of Stick of Truth straight up. I bought it on 360 but still need to play it, luckily it's backwards compatible on XBox.
