Aside from World of FF, has there been any Vita news this week?

Obligatory late-in-the-thread-and-too-lazy-to-look-up-the-details question: When exactly is the PC conference tonight, and where will we be able to stream it?

It certainly doesn't matter to me or most folks on here, but CoD is unfathomably huge...for reasons I can't fully understand or explain. Maybe Xbox will remain the home for dude mcshooter bros, but any progress Sony can make opens up a whole new market for them. It's a big deal. Bigger than any of their exclusives, which were mostly just fan service. Last Guardian might sell a million copies...maybe.
And while BC sounds great on paper, you won't use it. On PS3, I used it for two games (SotC and Okami) and ended up buying remasters of both anyway.
You could start with the stupid title. Here's a tongue in cheek jab at MS to make some non-point about yourself apparently, and as a bonus, it makes the forum look like a joke to those who aren't in on whatever meta you're trying to accomplish.
Maybe hilarious isn't the right word.

I don't think Valve is involved in the conference at all. Don't they always do their own thing?

Advanced Warfare's sales are down 30% compared to Ghosts at this point in time and nearly 40% compared to Black Ops II. If anything, all signs point to Black Ops III's sales continuing the decline especially since it has more competition in Q4 2015 with the likes of other highly anticipated FPS releases such as Halo 5: Guardians (one week before), Fallout 4 (one week after), and Star Wars: Battlefront (two weeks after). If anything, Activision should've dropped any exclusivity deals as its probably hurt DLC and Season Pass purchases more than helped it. I'm a huge COD fan, but I've been waiting for Fallout 4 and Battlefront for years.
There will be a few who jump ship to PS4, but the competitive gamers will still stay on Xbox for two reasons:
- Microsoft is a sponsor of MLG where Xbox consoles will be used.
- There is nothing on the PS4 that will now compare to the Elite controller.

"Best part of Sony's presentation: virtually nothing shown requires you to buy a PS4."
I can't really agree or disagree with the above, since I wasn't paying too close attention to which titles were fully PS4 exclusive. Anyone have this information? I think the above person is wrong.

True Exclusives
1. The Last Guardian
2. Horizon: Zero Dawn
3. Dreams
4. Uncharted 4
5. Rigs (Morpheus)
On PC/Other Consoles
1. Hitman (with PS4 beta access; more missions)
2. Street Fighter V (console exclusive)
3. No Man's Sky (timed PS4 exclusive)
4. Destiny: The Taken King (more exclusive gear/maps)
5. Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (exclusive missions)
6. Shenmue III (console exclusive)
7. Final Fantasy VII (PS4 first)
8. Final Fantasy Worlds (PS4/Vita first)
9. Firewatch (PS4 first)
10. Disney Infinity 3.0 (Boba Fett first on PS)
11. Star Wars: Battlefront
12. Call of Duty: Black Ops III (some exclusive stuff)
I'm missing some indie and maybe Morpheus stuff, though.

Hopefully Sony didn't pony up too much money for the CoD DLC. MS bailed on that sinking ship and Sony could use the money elsewhere, like to buy back Silent Hills

That's being a little harsh, I know. Until Dawn is pretty much tailor-made for me, and I'm probably up for the Uncharted collection and maaaaaybe the Tearaway redux (although I can't imagine it living up to the Vita version). Sony has some amazing and very unique games on the horizon; I just wish one of them would be released, eventually.

I tend to agree with this. With all the talk of the dearth of true next gen titles and the online bitching as to the amount of HD remakes and the like, it's really surprising that the buzz about backwards compatibility is so positive.

It would have won for this if it was for full 100% BC with all 360 games....instead it will work just like the 360 and be limited to mostly first party titles. So, really not that excited about it. Gives me no reason to get rid of my 360 console.

And listen to the crowd reaction - FF7 remake was the high point of Sony's conference.
Bethesda trumped the whole thing with their presentation the night before - Doom and Fallout 4 - The crowd's reaction to those was great.

Until Dawn does look good. I wish they'd show it. It's a game you can play this year on a PS4!

no interest in BC ... if I had any interest I would have kept my PS3 (PS2 moving to PS3, etc) ... onward and upward
if I want to revisit a title (almost never), remastered collections will almost always fill that need
