I'm currently on level 3-4 and facing the swinging fire sticks. Very frustrating level.

Downloaded it, played it for 10 mins, realized its basically the old game but now it costs $10 to unlock it. Deleted it.

I had to abandon my quest to get all coins - this jumping off enemies at just the right moment thing is very frustrating. Probably going to stop playing the game once I just complete the levels.

I enjoyed it for $10. I collected all the coins and have purchased everything in the Kingdom shop. The only real grind in the game is playing enough Rally to get the Toads necessary to purchase all the knick knacks.
Collecting the coins was fun and challenging when you got to the black level. That said, I don't see a need to go back to mess with it at all now, but I definitely got $10 out of it.

So far I've played through all the levels and gotten all the pink coins. Great game for the price.

Fire Emblem outgrosses Super Mario Run with just 10% of the downloads:
Freemium unlocks are dead. Dead dead dead. Nintendo just proved why they do not work, in one stunning example. The Wall Street Journal's Takashi Mochizuki reports on a Nintendo earnings call that Super Mario Run [Free] has gotten 150 million downloads, but Fire Emblem Heroes [Free] has brought in more revenue on less than 10% of the downloads. That's right, folks, we live in a reality where a Fire Emblem game can out-perform a Mario game.

Just my opinion of course, but I thought the Fire Emblem game was much better than the Mario one. And you can get a lot out of that game without spending a penny.

Not that anyone, anywhere cares, but Miitomo is going offline on May 9th.

We can probably create a new thread for this later, but since this started as a generic Nintendo mobile thread, Nintendo announced Mario Kart Tour for mobile today but it won't be out for another year.

I haven't found a decent racing game on mobile yet. Nothing feels right on the touch screen. So I don't have much faith in this.

Yeah I don’t know. I can’t really imagine playing Mario Kart without a controller personally.

Dr. Mario! This seems like it has potential to be very addicting on mobile and seems perfect for the platform.

Also, Mario Kart delayed until summer.

They had Pokemon Picross as Free to Play with option to pay. If you just did free it would take your a while to move from level to level and playing a little every day (i.e. a max of daily training puzzles that gave you extra picrites to unlock extra content). I bought the max, and cost $30 to do (I read which packs to buy to pay the least). In the end it was a $30 game with 50-100 hours of play. Still playing, and well worth it.

I've been playing some of the beta for Mario Kart and have to admit, it's a pretty fun mobile racer. It looks very nice and seems well polished. I'm sure Nintendo is going to make a shit ton on microtransactions.

Dr. Mario is starting to roll out. It's fun so far, I haven't gotten to unlock the versus mode or anything yet though.

I cleared the first world, but I'm having trouble with the timed stages. Sometimes I think I have it flipped the right way, and unfortunately by covering the piece with my finger and rushing, I don't. One mistake like that and you can basically call that a loss. Two or three of those in a row, and you won't be playing for a while after your hearts are gone.
I am having fun with this though, but I will say, I won't be spending a single dime on it. I originally bought Mario Run for 10 bucks, but I'm not getting sucked into that F2P spending. I wish I could just pay a price and at least get unlimited hearts.

I enjoy the game, but man oh man having to have an active connection is very annoying. Half of my commute I'm in out of service, so forget playing it then. Also, I have already completed levels multiple times, which were difficult, and then the game spins, I get a connection error, and the level is no longer completed. Oh, and they still take the life though. Obviously the game just released, but Jesus Nintendo and online stuff is so annoying.

Mario Kart Tour is out.
200cc is locked behind a 4.99 monthly subscription (which also gets you more gold or something). This is in addition to gacha. Yeah, I'm out.
